WHEREAS, the City of Georgetown is in the process o-2
kcquiring right of way along Williams Drive in Georgetownt Texas�,
for the purpose of expanding the present roadway;
WHEREAS, William and Carol Russell are the fee owners of a
parcel of land along a portion of the area where the right of way
is to be acquired;
WHEREAS, the City of Georgetown finds it is in the best
interest of the City to acquire the right of way through
reasonable negotiations;
WHEREAS, William and Carol Russell have made an offer to the
City that the City finds is in its best interest to accept;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS,
THAT:

The City Council of the City of Georgetown accepts the offer 0
William and Carol Russell to purchase 0.0424 acres of land, als
described as a 20 foot strip of property along Williams Drive 1 i
Georgetownt Texas, described on the attached document, f
T-e,YL +hou6o-nd cLrut no/100 Dollars ($ (0)000 .00) subject
the following condition:
That the Russells execute a waiver and release for any and all
damages incurred, that presently exist or in the future may arise,
from the alleged "trespass" or "taking" of the City's water or
other utility line that is currently located in the area where the
property is to be acquired.
SECTION II.
That the City Attorney is directed to prepare the necessary
documents to complete this transaction and the Mayor is hereby
authorized to execute the same and the City Secretary to attest.

BEING 0.0424 acre (1,847.92 s.f.) of land, more or less, out of and
part of the David Wright Survey and being part of that 0.603 acre
tract of land described in a deed dated June 18, 1984 from West
Georgetown Development Co. to William H. Russell and wife Carol Ann
Russell as recorded in Volume 1034 Page 184 of the Williamson County
Deed Records, and being more particularly described by metes and
bounds as follows:
BeEinnin3 at a point in the existing Northerly right of way line of
RIM Highway 2338, said point also being South 590 121 CC" West 2
distance of 263.83 feet, more or less; from the Grantor's Southeast
property corner;
(1) 1YENCE North 310 471 CC" West along the existing Easterly right of
way line of said highway for a distance of 82.85 feet to the
be inning of a curve to. the right;
(2) MENCE along said curve with an arc distance of 23.56 feet, radius of
15.0 feet, and chord bearing and length of North 1301310" East
21.21 feet, to a point in the grantor's Northerly property line;
