Norton Richard Nesbit Bridgett Chapman Jerry Hammerlun MINUTES 1. Call to order. Jill Fussell, President, called meeting to order at 6:04 pm in the Georgetown Public Library, Hewlett Room. 2. As an owner of real property in the Georgetown city limits located within 200 feet of the boundary of the land under consideration for rezoning: Consideration and possible action of a resolution to be presented to City Council in support of Rezoning of 24.076 acres in the Joseph Fish and Williams Roberts Surveys, from Agricultural (AG) District to Planned Unit Development (PUD) with a base Local Commercial (C-1) District, to be known as Georgetown Village Center, located on 1121 Shell Road, southwest of Sycamore Street. Project Case Number: REZ-2013-024 Notes: Bridgett Chapman, the Georgetown City attorney, clarified the PIDs scope of jurisdictional responsibility as prescribed by the ordinance approved by City Council. Jill Fussell had item 2 withdrawn from the agenda. 3. Consideration and possible action of a resolution to be presented to City Council to request denying building permits to KB Homes at Creekside at Georgetown Village until Creekside at Georgetown Village is annexed into Georgetown Village Public Improvement District #1. Notes: Bridgett Chapman, the Georgetown City attorney, clarified the PIDs scope of jurisdictional responsibility as prescribed by the ordinance approved by City Council. Jill Fussell had item 3 withdrawn from the agenda. 4. Consideration and possible action of a resolution to be presented to City Council and Georgetown Transportation Advisory Board in support of including in the 2015 Proposed Bond Projects the $20 million Shell Road improvements from Williams Drive to Hwy. 195; support of the Shell Road improvements is due to long-standing traffic safety issues as Shell Road bisects Georgetown Village. Notes: Jerry Hammerlun, District 5 City Council member, noted that the 2015 proposed bonds are still deep in the discussion phase. A community engagement board will be convened in May to collect input from residents. Bridgett Chapman noted that any action taken by the PID until the bond proposals have been finalized would be preemptive. Jill Fussell had item 4 withdrawn from the agenda. 16. New Business Notes: Mike Ashley tendered his resignation to Jill Fussell in written form. Jill Fussell accepted the resignation of Mike Ashley as a voting board member of the PID. 17.
