MINUTES
Since there was not the required number of voting members present for a quorum,
President Jill Fussell appointed alternate Melinda Penniman as a voting member for this
meeting.

routinely audited by the PID due to continual changes within the Village. She has
also input the meter numbers for each location which will make auditing easier.

Consideration and possible action to approve Minutes of Georgetown
Village Public Improvement District #1 meetings held on May 13, 2014
Note: Item 5c(3) to be amended to read "SunTerra to install steel edging where
the sidewalk meets the bed and, as a safety measure, remove the edging at the
lawn side of the planting bed."

5. Consideration and possible action on proposal from Affordable Signs to install 2
"Do Not Mow Drainage Easement" signs north of Sycamore entrance at each end

6. Consideration and possible action on proposals from Tom Norrell, 'Tour
Master Electrician, listed below:
1) Lights for night-time illumination of the street names on the street

This item will be tabled for now.
7. New Member Solicitation — distribution of forms for neighborhood solicitation,
to be returned to PID by June 30

Notes: Jill Fussell has divided up the Village neighborhoods for distributing the
application forms. Some members will walk more than one area. Deadline for
distribution is this Sunday June 15.

1) Update on pocket parks replanting schedule.
2) Update on purchase and installation of second portion of new benches and
trash cans for parks from Paul E. Allen company.
Notes: Alex Hayes reported that the installation of these items will be
complete by Sat. She spoke with Mr. Garcia, Vice Principal of Village
Elementary who confirmed the school would like 6 of the benches. Alex
will work with the installer to arrange a "gift in kind" installation.
3) Update on loose grate over cave access in Cedar Elm Park
Note: Mark Booras to ask Mr. Handyman to repair this.
4) Update on new bulletin board installation
Note- ordered; no PO is required; invoicing will be net 30
5) Discussion regarding possible pavilion in Chestnut Park
Notes: The board believes there needs to be some discussion with
neighbors before installing a pavilion but agreed we should get costs
before we put it out to "the public" to assure it is within our budget. The
committee will pursue costs and report back.

Note: This committee has not met and had no update. Mary Drake suggested

Alex Hayes suggested the Committee meet one more time to assure
compliance with the rules. If no issues found, consideration will be given to
• this committee.

Alleyways have •. evaluated and Mark Miller, Georgetown Transportation
Manager, is assisting in assessing which • may have to be -•a -• and
when.
a. Mary Drake will be submitting PID Board resignation effective July 1, R44
Note - Jill Fussell moved Melinda Marler from an alternate to a voting

b. Jill Fussell will be on vacation for July and August meetings. Alex Hayes will
preside over meetings.

• July, when Williamson County Assessment District (WCAD) provides
the PID, through La'Mar, the PID certified revenue for this year. Then the
PID Executive Committee prepares the PID proposed budget. At the
August PID meeting there should be two motions to be considered -
1. To accept the proposed PID Budget for the coming fiscal year
2. To approve the PID assessment rate for the coming fiscal year
(currently .002 (two mils) • assessed value of property)
d. Mark Miller, Director of Transportation, has agreed to install 130 Inp
speed limit signs within Georgetown Village, principally along major
entrance thoroughfares. He will also replace the • • 30
•, speed limit signs with the little f• pulling the wagon, which he says
are
• enforceable.
e. Mark Booras has a neighbor who asked him who is responsible for fixing
raised sidewalks due to tree roots. Jill Fussell advised the board that the
homeowner is responsible. She will look further into the bi-laws to assure
this is correct.
f, Melinda Marler asked if the board would like to have name badges. The
board thought this would be good. Melinda to look into cost.
