1. President Jill Fussell called the meeting to order at 6:11.
2. Financial Report (Alex Hayes, Treasurer)
A. Financial status reports provided by La’Mar Kemp, City of Georgetown
Financials, Aug 31 , 2014
Year-to-Date Total Revenues $302,720.21
Year-to-Date Total Expenses $128,456.54
Current Funds Available $ TBD
Note: Alex Hayes recommended not approving the Financials as submitted due
to a discrepancy of $5,090.42 for Current Funds Available. Alex will contact
La’Mar Kemp to explain the discrepancy and have the Financials corrected.

B. Recap of approved expenditures
1) Tree Top Products: $2,955.81 – Village Commons Pool Message Board

3. Consideration and possible action to approve Minutes of Georgetown Village
Public Improvement District #1 meeting held on August 11, 2014.
Bill Weber motioned to approve the August 11, 2014 minutes as submitted; Alex
Hayes 2nd; motion carried
4. Landscaping / Irrigation Report – Matt Saulsgiver, SunTerra representative
A. Report on pending work orders previously approved:
1) Wildflower meadow proposal for 3 areas along Shell Rd $ 734.27
Note: This is still planned for late Oct or Nov when it is cooler
2) Remove old grasses, plant coreopsis at Bedford Park $ 275.88
Note: This project is still pending
B. Update on replacement of dead plant material in pocket parks
Update: Matt Saulsgiver said SunTerra will replace the dead plants at no
charge to the PID.
Due to the SunTerra account manager change, Alex Hayes informed Matt
Saulsgiver about the dead sod that needs to be replaced at Bedford Park.
In addition, Alex also informed Matt Saulsgiver about the previous request to
adjust the irrigation to suit the recent xeriscape project at Bedford Park.
5. Update on Mr. Handyman (Mr. Dent) removing lock and chain as well as adding
steel mesh under grate then re-securing grate over sink-hole in Cedar Elm Park.
Note: Steve Goodman will check to see that this project is complete as well as the
status of returning the chain and lock to the PID.

6. Update on Board Member badge order.
Note: The badges were delivered to the Board members.
7. Update on Green Builders Inc. necessitated documents in conjunction with
conveyance of Water Quality Facility located on Rosedale.
Note: Bill Weber reported that he doesn’t have the necessary documents as
outlined in the previous PID meeting but does not think it will be a problem
getting them.
B. Updates status on City of Georgetown Council approval of new Alternate PID
Board members, Michael Mullenix and Steve Goodman.
Note: Both alternate members were approved by the Georgetown City Council at
their September 9, 2014 meeting.
C. Report from each PID Board member on which committees they would like to
participate.
• Alley Paving and Upkeep Committee: Mark Booras, Jill Fussell, Bill Weber
• Budget/5-Year -Plan Committee: Alex Hayes, Jill Fussell, Steve Goodman
• Executive Committee: Jill Fussell, Alex Hayes, VP vacancy
• Governing Rules Committee: Alex Hayes, Phillip Hardy, Steve Goodman

10. Committee Reports
A. Landscape Committee (Jill Fussell, Phillip Hardy, vacancy)
Update on Request for Quote for mulch at entrances, along Shell Rd, and
at two round-abouts (pocket parks were done with replanting)
Update: none
B. Park Amenities Committee (Melinda Marler, Mark Booras, Alex Hayes)
1) Update on order of Village Commons Pool Message Board.
Update: Mark Booras reported that the new Message Board was
ordered and will ship right away. Installation is expected no later than
mid-October.
2) Report on Cedar Elm Park Dry Stack Wall around Aquifer opening
Update: Alex Hayes reported that the wall has been installed.
C. Budget / 5-Year-Plan Committee (Alex Hayes, Jill Fussell, vacancy)

E. Governing Rules Committee (Alex Hayes, Phillip Hardy, vacancy)
Update: none
F. Executive Committee (Jill Fussell, Alex Hayes, vacancy)
Update on PID Board insurance coverage. Per Alex Hayes, Carina Reason
has given a quote of $325 per year for the PID insurance coverage. There
are still a few items that need to be added but this amount should change
very little. Alex will also check the deductible amount. The estimated date
for completion is Sep 10 and will be submitted to the City of Georgetown
in October.
G. Alley Paving and Upkeep Committee (Alex Hayes, Jill Fussell, vacancy)
Update: Jill Fussell has a list of which alleys will need paving and the
cost.
12. Update on City of Georgetown Council September 09, 2014 approval of
Georgetown Village Public Improvement District #1 Advisory Board FY15
Budget.
Note: The City Council, at their September 9 meeting, approved the PID budget
for FY15.
13. Update on City of Georgetown Council September 09, 2014 approval of
Georgetown Village Public Improvement District #1 Advisory Board FY15
assessment rate of 0.002 (two mils) of assessed property value.
Note: The assessment rate of 0.002 was approved.
14. Discussion on PID Board Member/Alternates and Committee Training Session to
be held September 22, 2014.
Note: Jill Fussell and Alex Hayes will conduct the training as scheduled though
one or two members may not be present. There will be a training presentation
available for those absent members.
15. Discussion and possible action on Committees meeting on the fourth Monday of
every month.
Discussion: The various committee members will determine among themselves
when to meet though it is required they meet no less than monthly.
16. Appeal for additional board members to occur in October 2014.
Note: Jill Fussell would like each member to walk a section of the village to drop
off an application to each house. She has a map which divides the Village into
several sections. In addition to the membership applications, they will include an
updated PID brochure.

17. October 2014 Board Member Executive Elections
Note: Elections will be held in Oct. Though there are only 3 members who meet
the one year requirement to hold office, the Governing Rules allow for the Board
to waive this requirement as needed.
18. Discuss update to trifold brochure as well as formation of a Brochure Committee.
Discussion: Melinda Marler and Jill Fussell will review the brochure and make
updates and changes. There was no discussion regarding forming a new
committee.

20. Opportunity for residents to address the PID Board
Note: None present.
21. There being no further business, Phillip Hardy motioned to adjourn; Vince Uthoff
2nd; motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 8:27 pm.
