Landscaping / Irrigation Report – Matt Saulsgiver, Merit Service Solutions representative Report on pending work orders previously approved: A. Apply one (1) inch of double ground hardwood mulch to all of the garden areas in Georgetown Village excluding Shell Road and The Gazebo, Work Order 46815 $1,295.52 B. Install one (1) inch of organic compost to surround all existing rose bushes excluding The Gazebo. To be installed and raked prior to mulching, (reference Merit Service Solutions Work Order 46815) Work Order 46817 $969.41 C. Fertilize four (4) planted trees and provide a root collar excavation on all five (5) trees in Cedar Elm Park, Work Order 46339 $868.00 Discussion: Matt mentioned that this should read “fertilize five trees and provide a root collar for the four distressed trees.” 6. I apologize far any inconvenience this will cause but I feel'this is necessary for me at this time. I will continue as a PID member as well as with my membership in the two committees, Communications Committee and Park Amenities Committee. This proposal is for the planting of 2 3gal red yuccas 1 located at the rosedale sign bed and the other at the georgetown village sign bed just off of shell and village commons this bid also includes the mulching of thoes 3 sign beds ( on the front side only) ($431.49) Merit Remove 3 holly trees located under crape myrtles in the middle of the round about bed ($191.67) Merit Westbury sign bed. This proposal is to extend the dry river bed from the south side of Westbury over to the north side of the road. This bid includes: - flairing out of the already installed rock and bringing it down to the curb line of the raod - we will then taks the same rock and fill in the srar between the sidewalk and the curb line on the north side of Westbury (this area has the electric box located in it) ($2,176.70) Merit Westbury drive. in this bid we plan on extending the decomposed granite path that is on the south side of westbury to the north side of westbury at the end of the new trail we plan on creating a circle area where a bench could be installed. the bench is not included in this bid. included in the bid · prepping the area · installing the decomposed granite · installing the edging · irrigation adjustments · compacting the decomposed granite ($1,858.64) Merit Wildflower Seed ($734.27) Coaches Construction - Debris removed in preparation for mowing - Entire area mowed and edged with weed-eater per Alex Hayes ($800.00) Merit This work order is to fix the drainage issue in fairfield park which is leaving ruts in the decomposed granite pathway our plant is to raise the existing block edging which means we will have to break the blocks apart raise them and then re mortor ($1,633.33) Merit this proposal is to clean up the rock areas in bedford park - remove and dispose of all plant material in the 2 specific areas net to the basins - remove and dispose of all the trash we find in the 2 areas ($1,916.67) Merit Replacement of previously planted grass (now dead) with decomposed granite and various-sized native rocks in front of single Bedford Park bench on far side of park ($515.00 credited off this work order for previously planted grass that died) ($1,056.75) Merit Remove steel edging at Hanover and Westbury Parks ($270.00) Merit Additional non-urgent irrigation reparis as a result of 10/2014 irrigation inspection ($815.76) Blair-Hill Landscape Architects Landscape Design ($2,600.00) Merit Add 5 locks to boxes at the Gazebo area 1 for the lockable switch and the 4 lockable outlets ($150.00)
