On January 12, 2015 the PID Board unanimously voted to nominate to The City Council of Georgetown, Josh Schroeder as an Alternate Board Member. On February 25, 2015 Josh Schroeder withdrew his name from the aforementioned position. C. Upcoming Boards & Commissions Training sessions: Note: As a reminder, every member is required to complete the Attorney General’s online training for the Open Meetings Act and the Public Information Act. All Certificates of Completion should be emailed to Shelley Nowling, shelley.nowling@georgetown.org, City of Georgetown, Assistant City Clerk. Consideration and possible action to approve the PID Meeting Minutes held Monday February 9, 2015 5. Committee Reports A. Alley Paving and Upkeep Committee (Vincent Uthoff, Bill Weber) B. Budget/5 Year Plan Committee (Steve Goodman, Alex Hayes, Phillip Hardy) 1) Discussion and possible action to require each Committee to submit an annual budget based on the overall 5 year plan. C. Communications Committee (Steve Goodman, Phillip Hardy, Melinda Marler) 1) Discussion and possible action to proceed with a Facebook page for the PID Board 2) Discussion and possible action to prepare binders for existing and new members 3) Discussion and possible action for a mission statement for the PID 4) Discussion and possible action to accept the revised PID Membership Application 5) Consideration and possible action to proceed with mailing membership applications to Georgetown Village residences instead of delivering them door-to-door by PID members. Park Amenities Committee (Alex Hayes, Melinda Marler) 1) Discussion and possible action to proceed with a plan to install picnic tables and optional shade structures in parks as presented, obtaining design, installation locations, prepare and let bid per The City of Georgetown Bidding Requirements to be presented to the PID for final approval. 2) Discussion and possible action to proceed with a sign for the privately owned Lord & Fish Cemetery located at the corner of Shell Road and Village Commons to include cost of design, fabrication and installation based on verbiage provided by the property owner.
