WHEREAS, Williams Drive is the primary thorougonnecting no st
Georgetown to the center city; and
WHEREAS, The City of Georgetown and Williamson County jointly funded the
construction of the Williams Drive Expansion project Mi 2009 through an interlocal agreement-,
and
. WHEREAS, The City has been actively maintaining the portions of Williams Drive from
IH -35 to Jim Hogg Road-, and
WHEREAS, Williamson County has approved a formal transfer of jurisdiction anif
yus D7i-v-e v_L,4t-,tf-miav aTea -to fu C*j LjLAG lilexuxts se e
WHEREAS, the City desires to accept Williamson County's transfer of jurisdiction and
maintenance of the subject portions of Williams Drive; and
WHEREAS, The City desires to annex all of the Williams right-of-way under its
jurisdiction for consistency of service provisions.
NOW, TBEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TBE CITY

policy and further finds that the adoption of this resolution is not inconsistent or in conflict with
other City policies and goals.

SECTION 2. The City Council of the City of Georgetown finds it to be in the best interest
maintenance of Williams Drive from IH -35 to the westernmost edge of the Jim Hogg Road
intersection, as described in Exhibit "I" attached hereto.
SECTION 3. The Mayor is hereby authonized to sign this Resolution and the City
Secretary to attest thereto on behalf of the City of Georgetown.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS, hereinafter referred to as Grantor, in consideration of the
terms and completion of that certain pass-through toll agreement between Williamson County,
Texas and the State of Texas, has this day Sold and Transferred and by these presents does
Grant, Assign, Sell and Convey unto the CITY OF GEORGETOWN, hereinafter referred to a
Grantee, all of Grantor's rights, title and interest in and to those certain tracts or parcels of land
situated in Williamson County, Texas, said land being more particularly described in Exhibit "A
(the "Property"), attached Hereto and made a part hereof,
Anything herein to the contrary notwithstanding, this Transfer of Right of Way is made subject
to the continued rights of existing utilities, if any, as provided by law, and any required
adjustment will be at no cost to Grantor. In addition, this conveyance is subject to all matters of
public record and to all easements or other interests which affect the property, and to any matter
which would be disclosed by title examination, survey, investigation or inquiry, including but not
limited to the rights of parties in possession.

intersection of RM 2318 with Jim Hogg Road, as more specifically described on "Line
Description" attached hereto as Exhibit "A-2SAVE AND- . 0A86 acre tract of land as
described in Exhibit "Battached hereto.
TOGETHER WITH any and all other interests held previously by the State of Texas for said RM
2338 right-of-way, held by plat dedications, prescriptive easements, easements appurtenant and
any other right in and to the RM 2338 right-of-way, it being the intent of Williamson County to
convey any and all interests it currently holds or which it might inure to.
