WHEREAS, The City has been actively maintaining the portions of Williams Drive from IH -35 to Jim Hogg Road-, and WHEREAS, Williamson County has approved a formal transfer of jurisdiction anif yus D7i-v-e v_L,4t-,tf-miav aTea -to fu C*j LjLAG lilexuxts se e WHEREAS, the City desires to accept Williamson County's transfer of jurisdiction and maintenance of the subject portions of Williams Drive; and WHEREAS, The City desires to annex all of the Williams right-of-way under its jurisdiction for consistency of service provisions. The City Council of the City of Georgetown finds it to be in the best interest maintenance of Williams Drive from IH -35 to the westernmost edge of the Jim Hogg Road intersection, as described in Exhibit "I" attached hereto. SECTION 3.
