The mission of the Georgetown Convention and Visitors Bureau is to:
Encourage the community's economic success through promotion of Georgetown as a tourist destination.
Preserve, promote and enhance the cultural heritage and unique character of the community.
Attract visitors to maximize the financial impact of tourism on the community.
The Convention & Visitor Bureau Board met on Friday, September I I at 8:30 am at Convention
and Visitors Bureau Office, located at 103 W. 7 1h Street, Georgetown, Texas.

1. Welcome/Call to order
The meeting was called to order by Chair McCullough at 8:31 am.
2. Discussion and possible action regarding approval of the August 14, 2015 minutes
Motion by Richaud, second by Vessels to approve minutes of August 14, 2015 meeting.
Approved 6-0.
3. Introduction of new Group Sales and Servicing Coordinator, Marie Woodard
•
4. Discussion and possible action regarding 2015-16 CVB Marketing Plan
Soeffker and Dorton briefed the results of the Marketing subcommittee discussion and
recommended revisions to the Plan.
Motion by Riehaud,seconded by Vessels to approve the revised CVB Marketing Plaj�
rior 2015-2016 as presented. Approved 7-0.
5. Discussion and possible action regarding advertising and media exposure and dates of
upcoming events.
Miller briefed the current advertising and media efforts and forthcoming events. The CVB
August Monthly Report is attached.
Chair McCullough adjourned meeting at 9:30 am.
