MINUTES
1. Call to order:
The meeting was called to order at 6:04 pm.
2. Financial Reports:
A. Financial status report was provided via a -mail by Lorie Lankford, City of Georgetown.
Information provided is as of November 30, 2010. As of November 30, 2010, $63.77 has
been earned in interest. No new revenues have been collected as taxes are due January 31,
2011. The Year To Date Total Expenses are $15,410.62; and Year To Date Current Funds
Available are $129,731.27.
B. Recap of approved expenditures was provided to Board members. $16,655.82 was
approved by the PID Board President.
3. Consideration and possible action to approve the minutes of Georgetown Village Public
Improvement District #1 meeting held on November 9, 2010.
The minutes from the November 9, 2010 meeting were not available and will be presented at
the next meeting.
4. Consideration and possible action:
A. Regarding bid proposals for replacing/installing missing signs; painting all benches, trashcans
and sign poles; and, repairing any broken community items, such as benches/gates, etc.
(1) A proposal from Larry Perez Signs and Graphix was received along with several proofs
for the replacement of existing trail signs that are outdated and worn. Discussion
ensued regarding design and cost.
A motion was made to move forward on the selected design/color and approve a cost
not to exceed $3,000.00

(2) A proposal from Rey -Mex Painting, Inc. was received for the painting of benches,
trashcans and sign poles; and for the repair of any broken community items. Discussion
ensued regarding the expected number of years this initiative might be expected to be
effective before needing to be addressed again.
A motion was made to accept the proposal as presented in the amount of $19,475.00.

B. Regarding bid proposals for maintenance of the gazebo, to include the installation of anew
surface over the existing surface that is abrasive to hinder skateboarding in the gazebo.
The rebuilding of the gazebo benches, and the prepping and painting of the iron railing by
the gazebo were addressed in the proposal from Rey -Mex above. The resurfacing of the
gazebo floor was discussed at length. Ultimately, it was requested that sample surfaces be
presented to the PID Board members for further consideration. This item was postponed
until the next meeting.
C. Regarding obtaining bid proposals for the trimming of trees that are under the jurisdiction
of the PID for maintenance.
It was determined that the Scope of Work was incorrect and needed to be revised.
A motion was made to table this action pending receipt of a revised bid proposal.

5. Update on property matching initiative based on information received from Williamson County
Appraisal District.
It was noted for the record that Cheryl Welch and Richard Nesbit will complete this project. No
further follow-up is required.
6. Status of Section 6.
It was noted for the record that no new information was available regarding this matter.
However, concerns were raised regarding contacts made to the City of Georgetown. Members
expressed their concern regarding who has the authority to represent the PID Board in matters
that involve the City of Georgetown.
The following motion was made:
I move that the primary representative in any and all discussions pertinent to the operation and
functioning of the PID between the PID and the City of Georgetown, including resolution of any
and all questions/legal matters/and/or financial matters concerning the PID, be that of the
President of the Georgetown Village Public Improvement District (PID) #1 and that the
Developer's Representative be designated as the alternate representative for all such matters.
The individuals that occupy these positions have the relevant expertise, knowledge of the rules
and regulations of both the PID and the City of Georgetown that may be required to resolve any
and all questions or problems concerning the PID, inclusive of legal, financial and contracting.

7. Consideration and possible action regarding additional PID Board members.
PID Board members reviewed previously submitted applications solicited in September 2010
and made selections for two vacant alternate positions.
A motion was made to select Harold Hergert and Michael Ashley for vacant alternate positions.
If either of the selectees declined, that a third candidate was approved for selection.

8. Consideration and possible action regarding the assignment of PID Board functions to various
members such as contracting, landscaping, PID Secretary, etc.
This action was postponed until the next meeting pending notification of newly selected PID
Board members.
9. New/Other Business
David Swayze of Sendero Land Services, Inc. attended the meeting and presented information
about his company for future consideration by the PID Board as the need arises for these types
of services.
10. Opportunity for resident(s) to address the PID Board.
No residents were present.
11. Adjourn
A motion was made to adjourn the meeting at 7:27 pm.
