MINUTES
C- 1. Call to order:
The meeting was called to order at 6:05 pm.
2. Financial
A. Lorie Lankford, Accounting Supervisor for the City of Georgetown
presented the financial data to the PID Board. Ms. Lankford noted that the PID had
$82,693.43 available for the remainder of the year and suggested that the PID Board
consider setting aside a minimum of 25% of that amount as a reserve for unanticipated
expenditures. It was also noted that the remainder of this years' expenditures would
be distributed from these funds.
B. A recap of approved expenditures since the August 25, 2009 meeting was
provided to Board members.
3. Consideration and possible action to approve the minutes of the Georgetown
Village Public Improvement District Meeting held on August 25, 2009.
A motion was made to approve the minutes as presented.

Motion approved.
4. Consideration and possible approval of action to select a new PID Secretary. This
item is carried over from the previous meeting.
No action was taken on this agenda item. It will be considered at the next PID
meeting.
5. Status update on approved action to solicit PID homeowners for consideration to
become a PID Board member.
Applications/solicitations will be distributed to all PID homeowners no later than
October 23, 2009.
6. Status update regarding the maintenance/repair of the fence line along Shell
Road.
It was noted by Chance Leigh that Green Builders replaced 65 pickets, and the
contractor replaced 265 pickets. The fence was powered washed and painted. This
item is considered closed.
7. Status of Section 6.
It was noted for the record that no new information was available regarding this
matter. Green Builders will report on this item upon receipt of additional information.
This item will remain on the agenda until such time that it is resolved.
8. Status update regarding action taken by the Georgetown City Council in
reference to Georgetown Village PID Governing Rules.
It was noted for the record that the Georgetown City Council unanimously
approved the requested changes at the second reading.
9. Consideration and possible approval of action regarding proposed bid by
Sunterra for the installation of rain sensors.
A brief discussion ensued regarding the merits of installing rains sensors based
on observations of sprinklers going off during rain events.
A motion was made to approve the installation of rain sensors based on the
proposal submitted by Sunterra.

10. Consideration and approval of action to solicit volunteers from Georgetown
Village to assist in project(s) regarding community improvements. (Vendors may supply
materials at no cost to PID)
The PID Board discussed the merits of soliciting community volunteers and
determined that it was appropriate to add language to the PID Board solicitation for
new members to be distributed by October 23, 2009. No further action is required at
this time.
11. New/Other Business
Tom McKitrick brought forth a request to have Rosedale and Madrid be declared
major streets. He noted that these two streets have an excessive amount of traffic and
would like to have the speed limit lowered. Chance Leigh will contact the City of
Georgetown for a possible traffic study.
12. Opportunity for resident(s) to address the PID Board.
No residents presented themselves to the Board.
13. Adjourn
