Call to order: The meeting was called to order at 6:02 pm. 2. Financial report: Financial Statement provided by Lorie Lankford, Accounting Supervisor City of Georgetown. (A copy is attached to the minutes). Highlights include approved expenses of painting, irrigation repair, and legal fees. 3. Approval of meeting minutes- February 10, 2009: A motion was made to approve the minutes after attendance corrections are made for the above date. Motion: Tom McKitrick Second: William Wolf Ayes — 5 Nays -0 Motion passed five (5) to zero (0). 4. DOCUMENTATION OF RESIGNATION TODD MANNING AS OF FEBRUARY 10F 2009. 5. REQUEST BY ROBERT FRIEND, 306 ROSEDALE BLVD., TO ADDRESS THE GTV PID BOARD MEMBERS REGARDING ABOVE GROUND SWIMMING POOLS: Mr. Friend addressed the board regarding multiple incidents of contact with Alliance about an above ground pool, vehicles in driveway, trailer, trash can, statuary, mowing, satellite, and pavers.. He feels that he is being harassed by Alliance, and wishes to resolve the ongoing issues he has with them. Primarily, the issue that he is getting letters regarding an above ground pool that he has stated that he removed in October 2006. Mr. Friend has left his emails with Alliance for the board members to review. These letters explain the issues in greater detail. Chance told Mr. Friend that he will ask Alliance to stop sending letters until he has made a final decision regarding these issues. Another issue brought up by Mr. Friend was the lack of information received by Lennar Homeowners at or before purchase about the restrictions in the neighborhood. George McGann also addressed the board about an above ground pool in his yard currently. He would like to receive permission to keep the pool. He would be open to planting shrubs or trees to hide the view of the pool from the street. He did obtain permits from the City of Georgetown, but has been denied permission by Alliance. He submitted photos to the board members for review. The decision was made to discuss these issues again at the May meeting. 6. MAINTENANCE OF FENCE LINE ALONG SHELL ROAD: It will cost approximately $6000 to repair broken pickets, bleach, strip, and repaint about .5 mile of; fence. Questions from the board included if Green Builders committed to building a new fence, and who is ultimately responsible for maintaining the fence- PID or homeowners. 7. USPS REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL MAILBOXES- LOCATION WESTBURY: THE BOXES WILL COST APPROXIMATELY $1500. CHANCE WILL GET A QUOTE ON PAINTING MAILBOXES AT HICKORY. THE MOTION HAS BEEN MADE TO APPROVE THE PURCHASE OF NEW MAILBOXES, NOT TO EXCEED A TOTAL COST OF $1500. MOTION: RICHARD NESBIT SECOND: CHANCE LEIGH Ayes — 5 Nays — 0 Motion passed five (5) to zero (0) S. CLARIFICATION OF BEDFORD PARK- CITY VS. PID: All vertical improvements and trees are the responsibility of the PID. The City is responsible for vegetation in the pond and the swing set. Chance will discuss the financial implications of this at his annual meeting with the City of Georgetown. 9. FOLLOW-UP ON ISSUES RAISED BY RESIDENT DURING FEBRUARY 10, 2009 MEETING: DEAD TREE WAS REMOVED, CRACKED SIDEWALK WILL BE REPAIRED, THE BENCHES WERE PAINTED, THE ALLEYWAYS WERE SEALED (BUT ONE LACKS SAND ON TOP), AND THERE ARE ABOUT 1$00 MORE FEET TO BE SEALED. 10. NEW/OTHER BUSINESS: QUESTIONS AND DISCUSSION INCLUDED: - CAN WE SEE A LIST OF VIOLATIONS CITED BY ALLIANCE? - TOM WOULD LIKE TO ENSURE THAT SUNTERRA IS FOLLOWING THE SCHEDULE AND RESPONSIBILITIES LISTED IN THE CONTRACT. THERE IS A BROKEN SPRINKLER HEAD, MANY FIRE ANTS, GRASS GROWN OVER IRRIGATION VALVES, UNTRIMMED CREPE MYRTLES, AND POSSIBLY NOT ENOUGH PRE -EMERGENT WEED CONTROL. - ARE THE ISSUES BROUGHT THE BOARD BY GTV RESIDENTS TONIGHT UNDER THE JURISDICTION OF THE BOARD? 11. Opportunity for resident(s) to address the PID board: Maynard Huntley, 101 Fairfield, spoke about his air conditioning unit location and the issue that Alliance has started to send letters about it. He purchased the home 33 months ago with the unit in that position. He would like to be granted the permission to leave it there. 12. Adjourn: A motion was made to adjourn the meeting at 8:00 pm.
