Call to order: The meeting was called to order at 6:00 pm. 2. WELCOME TO NEW MEMBERS. 3. Financial report: Financial Statement provided by Lone Lankford, Accounting Supervisor City of Georgetown. (A copy is attached to the minutes). 4. Approval of meeting minutes- January 13, 2008: A motion was made to approve the minutes as presented for the above date. Motion: Mike Rains Second: Tom McKitrick Ayes — 4 Nays — 0 Motion passed four (4) to zero (0). 5. UPDATE ON STATUS OF SECTION 9 AND CITY ACCEPTANCE INTO PID: Section 9 (Bellaire) accepted into PID on January 13, 2009. 6. UPDATE OF GOVERNING RULES SUBMITTED FOR REVIEW OF RECOMMENDED CHANGES: Cheryl Welch presented a summary of the status. Some requested changes were in conflict with City of Georgetown ordinances. Fees of $1500 per section and attorney fees to go through City of Georgetown Planning Division was mentioned as part of the process to eventually secure the desired changes. 7. FOLLOW UP DISCUSSION REGARDING ALLIANCE - CCR'S AND DESIGN GUIDELINES: A. GENERAL RESTRICTIONS 2.02 111 B. TRASH RECEPTACLES - 2.09 C. ALTERATION OR REMOVAL - 2.13 CCR & PG. 24 OF DESIGN (ACCESSORY STRUCTURES) D. ANIMALS - 2.19 E. BASKETBALL GOALS - PG. 26 OF DESIGN GUIDELINES F. LANDSCAPING G. COMMERCIAL ACTIVITY. Jennifer Wright of Alliance drives through neighborhood twice per month and notes homeowners of violations and sends a copy to Green Builders. It is possible that some codes need to be rewritten for clarification. Alliance listed issues such as unsupervised animals in park, visible trash cans, basketball goals on streets, landscaping, and unauthorized additions to properties. The PID does not have authority over this but can provide input. S. MAINTENANCE OF FENCE LINE ALONG SHELL ROAD: It will cost $6129.57 to replace 75 pickets, powerwash, and paint both sides of the Shell Road fence. It is slightly more than 1 mile of fencing. The motion has been made to table discussion until a later meeting. Motion: Mike Rains Second: Tom McKitrick Ayes — 4 Nays — 0 Motion passed four (4) to zero (0) at 7:00pm. 9. NEW/OTHER BUSINESS: BOARD AGREED THAT THE $1000 EXPENSE TO REPAIR ALLEYWAYS WAS APPROVED AT THE PRIOR MEETING. 10. OPPORTUNITY FOR RESIDENTS) TO ADDRESS THE PID BOARD: BETSY STEIFLMEYER BROUGHT ISSUES FOR ALLIANCE TO ADDRESS. A LIST WAS HANDED OUT AT MEETING. BETSY WILL CONTACT ALLIANCE, AND CHERYL WILL AS WELL TO FOLLOW UP. ALLIANCE TOLD BETSY THAT "THERE IS NO STANDARD FINE SCHEDULE." 11. Adjourn: A motion was made to adjourn the meeting at 7:32 pm.
