Legislative Regular Agenda
2. Discussion and possible action regarding approval of the August 91h board meeting minutes —

Motion by B. Nicholson to approve August 9th meeting minutes, second by J. Wilson.
Approved 6-0.
Discussion and possible action regarding Main Street Fagade Fund balance update and grant
application — Taylor Kidd, Board Chair
Discussion with Ms. McConnico about repainting and reglazing of windows due to rain
leaks and maintenance needed. Motion by K. Curry to approve $4,237 fagade grant for
Dimmitt Bldg. at 719 S. Main St., second by C. Harrington. Board discussion about how Ms.
McConnico found out about the grant application. Approved 6-0.
4. Discussion and possible action on updates for the Historic Preservation Program and
Downtown Projects — Matt Synatschk, Historic Planner
M. Synatschk gave an update on HARC applications and downtown projects including street
sign sale, Austin Ave. bridges project, historic resource survey, downtown sidewalk
projects, Grace Heritage Center project and Sam Pfiester project. No action required.

Progress on Committee reports was discussed.
a) Rebecca Huggins gave an update on the Promotions Committee.
Committee update included proposed additions to Swirl VIP Sponsor brochure,
Swirl budget is increasing winery reimbursements and an additional band, Shop
Small videos with Chet and Fielding Garner and Goodshop app for Small Business
Saturday.
Motion by C. Harrington to approve the Swirl sponsorship level additions and
preliminary Swirl budget, second by]. Wilson. Approved 6-0.
b) C. Harrington and B. Nicholson reported on the progress made by the Organization
Committee including Table on Main restaurants, signage, advertisements and menu.
Rain plan is Monument Market.
No action required.
c) J. Wilson and K. Curry gave an update on the Economic Vitality Committee including
Breakfast Bites review and next one in November for retail strategy or new ED
Director, next Downtown Low Down on October 19, next 3 d Monday Main Street
lunch at Sheraton's Brix & Ale, new arts and culture guide, San Marcos downtown
visit on October 21, and realtor training in spring.
No action required.
d) T. Kidd and J. Parker gave an update on the Design Committee ornament design and
painted crosswalks. Presentation to city council workshop on Facade & Sign Grant
Program date, and ADA committee.
No action required.
Discussion and possible action regarding Staff Report including Best of Georgetown, TX
contest in September, Georgetown Art Centers exhibits and food demos at Georgetown Wine
and Music Fest, Paint Out with Georgetown Art Center and Georgetown Heritage Center and
reception — Matt Synatschk, Historic District Planner
No action required.
Set agenda items for next board meeting
Discussion about Shelly has a conflict with the November 11 board meeting date, but will
discuss in October. Next board meeting date is October 14.
