A RESOLUTION OF THE GEORGETOWN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
CORPORATION (GEDCO) OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS
AUTHORIZING GEDCO TO RELEASE SURPLUS INVENTORY TO THE
GEORGETOWN INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT (GISD).
WHEREAS, GEDCO and GISD entered into an incentive performance agreement regarding an
engineering program for students to gain real world work skills using GEDCO-provided
manufacturing equipment; and,
WHEREAS, the performance agreement has concluded, and GEDCO has determined that the
manufacturing equipment is surplus, and GEDCO intends to transfer the surplus
manufacturing equipment to GISD; and,
WHEREAS, the equipment shall continue to serve an economic development purpose for the
City through the GISD student training program.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE GT vNC—IiL- OF THE CITY OF
GEORGETOWN TEXAS:
SECTION ONE. The facts and recitations contained in the preamble of this Resolution are
hereby found and declared to be true and correct, and are incorporated by reference herein and
expressly made a part hereof, as if copied verbatim.
SECTION TWO. GEDCO finds it in the best interest of the citizens of Georgetown to authorize
the transfer of surplus equipment to GISD for student training for future employment and serving
as a continued economic development within the community.
SECTION THREE. The GEDCO President is hereby authorized to sign any necessary transfer
documents.
SECTION FOUR. This Resolution shall become effective on the Ito day of DC4v b.e_.r , 2017.
