GEORGETOWN TO SIGN A LETTER OF AGREEMENT WITH THE
BRAZOS RIVER AUTHORITY RELATIVE TO ENGINEERING OF
MODIFICATIONS TO THE SECOND PHASE OF THE FEASIB-
ILITY STUDIES
WHEREAS, The Brazos River Authority intends to study the incor-
poration of the existing City of Round Rock treatment plant and the
incorporation of the proposed City of Georgetown treatment plant as
the single regional plant, and to evaluate dual regional treatment
plants using the City of Round Rock's existing plant and the City
of Georgetown's proposed plant as well as to update the water demand
and service schedules of each participant; and,
WHEREAS, The City of Georgetown's expected share of the cost of
such engineering studies shall not exceed $4,684.96 without written
authorization by the City of Georgetown.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN
that the Mayor of the City of Georgetown be authorized to sign a
letter of agreement with the Brazos River Authority stating the
willingness of the City of Georgetown to share the cost of such
studies.
