The proposed Aquifer Recharge Area Map incorrectly includes the Georgetown Sewage Treatment Plant area. Such area should be excluded from such map before it is adopted. 2. The propesed rules relative to sewer lines in the five (5) year flood plain are arbitrary and unreasonable. Their implementation will work extreme financial hardship on the City and the deterrent effect would be negligable. The said costs are extreme and certain whereas the benefits intended are uncertain. 3. The rules relative to testing, repairing and replacing existing sewer lines should be modified so as to allow adequate time and so that the expense involved will be reasonable. 4. More time for the City of Georgetown and others affected by such rules should be allowed. The Texas Department of Water Resources should postpone the adoption of any such rules for at least days. PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED this the _ day of January, 1985. 4 M7 MAL 11 ROr,•••••r• CxrY SECIRErARY CARL J. DOtAING, MA R
