HomeMy WebLinkAboutEasement Davis 04.17.1970THE STATE OF TEXAS * KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: COUNTY OF WILLIAMSON RIGHT OF WAY AND EASEMENT That we, William Douglas Davis and wife, Ruth Davis, of Williamson County, Texas, hereinafter called Grantors,:for and in consideration of the sum of Ten Dollars ($10.00) and other good and valuable consideration cash in hand paid by the City of Georgetown, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, confessed and deemed to be sufficient, do hereby grant and convey unto the City of Georgetown, Williamson County, Texas, hereinafter called Grantee, its successors and assigns, a utility easement for the construction, installation and placement of utilities and all appurtenances thereto and for the purpose of inspecting, maintaining, repairing and replacing such utilities along, over, through, upon, under and across the following land situated in the County of Williamson, State of Texas, said tract of land being described as follows: A 10' wide right-of-way and easeHeithtson the Subdivisionh line of Lot 4, Block 2, Gabriel g as same appears in the Map or Plat Records of Williamson County, Texas, and described by metes and bounds as follows: BEGINNING at the S W corner of Lot 4, Block 2, Gabriel Heights Subdivision at a point in the east line of Loint 4, Block 2, of Williams Addition for the beginning p hereof; THENCE North along the west line of said Lot 4, Block 2, Gabriel Heights Subdivision a distance of 10' feet for the N W corner hereof; THENCE Easterly and parallel with the south line of said 4, Block 2, Gabriel Heights Subdivision, a distance Lot of 14, Bl to a point in the west boundary line of Janis in said'Gabriel Heights Subdivision, Drive, a roadway for the N E corner hereof; THENCE South along the east boundarland ne of said long Lot 4, Block 2, Gabriel Heights Subdivision, Drive right-of-way line of said Janis Drive a distance oBlock to a point which is the S E corner of said Lot 4, 2, Gabriel Heights Subdivision and for the S E corner hereof; THENCE West along the south line of said Lot 4, Block 2, Gabriel Heights Subdivision, a distance of 162.49 feet to the place of beginning. All utilization of said easement shall be at the sole -cost and expense of Grantee herein and shall be at no cost to Grantors, William Douglas Davis and wife, Ruth Davis. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the said easement, rights of way, and rights unto the said City of Georgetown, its successors and assigns forever; and we do hereby bind ourselves, our heirs, executors and administrators to Warrant and Forever Defend, all and -of-way and easement unto the said City singular, the said right of Georgetown, its successors and assigns against every person whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof. day WITNESS our hands at Georgetown, Texas this of April, 1970.
