The City Council met in regular session on the above date, Mayor, C. S.
Griffith presiding. Presents Lee Co Black, city manager; Alder-
men; J. T. Atkin, C. C. Hamilton, E. K.Fkedeiriospn�i-F"Q.Smith, A. C.
Woodfin. City Marshall, A. P. Pickle, Secretary, M. L. Cates.
On motion of J. T. Atkin, Seconded by C. C. 11amilton, tke minutes of
the previous meetings were approved.
City Mgr. Lee C. Black read his report for the month of May, including
the treasurer's repoert and also the report of City YRrshal, end the kt
bills and accounts which amounted to $699.40. On motion of Al&-rman
Fredericson, seconded by Ald,Woodfin the report was receivea and
filed and all bills ordered paid.
The report of Dr,"7ty for State Cou/,aty and City Health Department,
gave the total budget for the county as, 259297.00. Hee-stated that the
City of Taylor refuses to come in for their pro rata of expense, unless
the office is moved to Taylor. He read a list of services rendered by
the Health Office. A motion was made by Ald, F. C. Smith, which was
seconded by Aldo A. C. Toodfin that the City of Georgetown pledge
$2200.00rfor its prorated share of expenses. The motion passed
unanimously.
tanager Black read audit of the city departments made by Mr. Claude
Eads and lir. 'tI;A Hunt. Motion was made by Aldo A. C. 'Woodfin and
seconded by Aldo Fredericson that the audit be approved, was accepted
unanimously.
New addition to the sewer lines in the Nolen addition and Hutto Road
was discussed, with no official conclusion to be recorded at present.
A motion was made by Aldo C. C, Hamilton, and seconded by Aldo F. C.
Smith to authorizenthe city Manager to buy U. S. Goverment Bonds with
any surplus cash during the month of June. The motion Passed unani-
mously.
Motion to adjourn subject to call wea made by Aldo F. C. Smith,
and seconded by Aldo C. C. Hamilton, was passed unanimously*
