HomeMy WebLinkAboutMIN 12.21.1981 CC-S24 December 21, 1981 The City Council met in special session on the above date at 5:00 p.m. with Mayor Pro -tem Carl Doering presiding. The following Councilmen and Officials were present: Eb C. Girvin, Joe Atkinson, Lee Fulkes, William C. Shell, City Manager Leo Wood, City Secretary Jim Colbert and Public Works Director, W. L. Walden. Mayor John C. Doerfler was absent. Ordinance - TMRS Motion by Atkinson and seconded by Shell to approve on Updated Service second and final reading an ordinance to authorize updated Credits, 2nd service credits for retirees under the Texas Municipal reading Retirement System. Motion carried by unanimous vote. (See Ord. Book #4, Pages 268 and 269). Ordinance - TMRS Motion by Fulkes and seconded by Shell to approve on Supplemental second and final reading an ordinance providing for par - Benefits, 2nd ticipation in the supplemental benefits fund of the Texas reading Retirement System. Motion carried by unanimous vote. (See Ord. Book #4, Pages 270 and 271). Intergovernmental Motion by Shell and seconded by Girvin to authorize th agreement with Mayor to execute an intergovernmental agreement with Williamson County Williamson County. Motion carried by unanimous vote. Resolution - Lease Motion by Shell and seconded by Atkinson to approve a agreemtn with resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute a Hexagon Builders lease agreement with Hexagon Builders, provided the lease stipulates all improvements revert to the City in the event of default. Motion carried by unanimous vote. (See Ord. Book #4, Page 272). Audit Motion by Fulkes and seconded by Atksinson to accept the 1980-1981 audit of the City by David Erickson Co., and to pay the bill in the amount of $6,893.00 Motion carried by unanimous vote. Mr. Adrian Curtis Adrian of the First Southwest Co. appreared before the City Council to report on the bonding capability of the City. No action was taken. Adjourn There being no further business, on a motion by Shell and seconded by Atkinson, the meeting adjourned.
