BE IT ORDAIM BY W3 CITY COUNIL OY WS CITY OF GEORGTTO° 1 T3W:
Tbut the oonpensation to be paid to the ofrioers of the said
City that are to be elected; at the regular election to be held in
and for the said; purposes on the first Tuasdiay in Aprll 19410 is
hereby fixed as follows;

(c) The City SeflrateVy shall receive a salary of Twelve & 50/100
012.50) b0) per month for his services as such; and as o1.erk of the Cor�-
poration Court he shall receive a,wh f+eeff as are new or tbalt may be
provided by law or by ofdl=noe of this City.
(A) That the City Treasurer shall noeivaR a salary of Twelve &
50/100 ($12ebO) per month.
(a) That the City Tax Assessor and Collector shill receive a
commission of one per Qent (f 1 ) on the bond and varraat funds
and five per cent (%5) on the general fund, for assessing, based on
the t6tal amount of his tax rolls after the same have been made up
and corrected and approved by the Board of Equalization; and he shall
recdive one per cent (%1) for collection on the bond and warrant funds
and five per cent for collection on the general fund, for all moneys
collected by him.
(f) rha t each Alderman shall re give four dollars per meeting
for each and every meeting attended by such Alderman.
The fact that it is necssary to provide for the salaries
of City officers prior to the date of th'2140 election creates a public
emergency and necessity that this ordinance be at ono passed and that
it take effect from and after the passage and approval hereof.
