City Clark, i y of Georgetown,Texas* TEXASs AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, FIXING THE SALERY OF THE UYOR AND THE SALERY OF EACH ALDERMAN THAT IS TO BE ELECTED AT THE NTxT "':NERAL ELECTION IN AND FOR THE SAID CITY MM DECLARING AN TTdERGENCY. PF, IT ORDAINED AY 'T.P CITY COTTNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGET070N, That the Mayor of the said City, that is to be elected at the next general election, held in and for the said City, shall be paid a salary of Forty 040.00) Dollars per month, paid monthlyy during the term for which he is eleoted. That each alderman, to be'elected at said general election, shall receive a salary of ten ($10.00) Dollars per month, paid monthly, during the term for which he is elected. That the fact that it is necessary to fix the salaries of the said officers prior to the date of the said election creates an emergency making it necessary that the rules requiring that an ordinance be read at three separate meetings prior to its passage, be suspended, and that the said rules are hereby suspended, and this ordinance is at once passed, and that it take effect from and after its passe°e.
