A G R E E M E N T
THIS AGREF,17111T, made and entered into this the 8th day of
November , 1954, by and between the CITY OF GEORGETOZ, a municipal
corporation, duly organized under the laws of the State of Texas, acting
herein by and through its Mayor, by authority of its governing body, the
City Council of the City of Georgetown, hereinafter for convenience called
"The City", and THE SOUTH'S"dESTERN STATES TELEPHONE COPaPATTY, a corporation
organized under the laws of the State of Delaware, having a permit to do
business in `texas, with its principal Texas office in the City of Brov,mwood,
Brown County, Texas, called "The Telephone Company".
The City has requested the Telephone Company to purchase certain
equipment for installation in its central office in Georgetown to the end
that same might operate with and make effective the fire reporting unit
olmied by the City and located in the mire Station, and the City has also
requested the Telephone Canham► to furnish the City a private line or circuit
to be connected to the fire reporting unit owned by the City for use as a
fire alarm system. The equipment required to operate the fire reporting
unit, together with any associated equipment that may be used or required,
shall be furnished , installed and maintained by the Uity. jhe Telephone
Qcanpany is wi.11in-, as an accommodation to the City, to furnish and provide
the equipment located in its central office and a line or circuit so re—
quested, but only upon the following covenants and conditions:
1. The City a-rees to pay the Telephone Company on the basis of
Three Dollars (:;;3.00) for the first quarter and One Dollar ( $1.00 ) additional
