HomeMy WebLinkAbout0119_117117 Due to the fact that the dater level of cur wells has gradually come up since the restriction the use of water for outside purposes was imposed on August 13th, to its former levels by virtue of the fact that we saved several million gallons each week. The lity Council at its regular September meeting by an order agreed to temporarily take off all restrictions on the use of water beginning on 41onday September 17, 1956. Mr. 'vi. P. Guyton, Consulting Hi,rdrolorist, confirmed this option until such a time as the water level -in wells should again d rop be- low our present levels then further restriction on the use of water would have to be imposed. The Council asks the cooperation of everyone in the conservation of our water during this crucial period. AN ORDER OF CITY COUNCIL 9-10-56 By order of The City Council of the City of Georetown at the reCular meeting September 10th, 1956, the enforcement of the Ordinance regulating sprinkling was suspended. Beginning !Monday Sept. 17, 1956 the Ordinance will be suspended until further ordered by the Council. Beginning September 17, it will be lawful to use City water for sprinkling until City Council directs otherwise.
