THE STATE OF TEXAS
COUNTY OF WILLIAMSON
WHEREAS, The Mutual Lumber Company. a private corporation duly in-
corporated and existing under and by virtue of the laws of the State of
Texas, with its principal place of business located in Austin, Travis County,
Texas, desires to erect a football and athletic stadium on certain land be-
longing to the City of Georgetown, such stadium to be used in the manner and
for the purpose hereinafter stated; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the said Mutual Lumber Company to
obtain a lease from the said City of Georgetown on the hereinafter described
property before erecting said athletic stadium ; and
WHEREAS, the Georgetown Independent School District desires to use
the athletic stadium to be erected by said Mutual Lumber Company, if it
elects to do so, as well as to lease the hereinafter described tract of land
from the said City of Georgetown, Texas, under the terms, conditions,
limitations and restrictions hereinafter set forth ; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary for said Georgetown Independent School
District to have a written lease from said City of Georgetown in order to
obtain the desired benefits and uses of and from the erection of said athletic
stadium by said Mutual Lumber Company;
AND, WHEREAS, the said City of Georgetown desires to lease the
hereinafter described tract of land to said Mutual Lumber Company in order
that it may erect said athletic stadium and further desires to lease said
tract of land to Georgetown Independent School District in order that said
School District may obtain the benefits and use of said athletic stadium, if
the Trustees of said School Distriot desire to do so=
NOW, THEREFORE, KNOW ALL MEN"BY THESE PRESENTSs That this agreement
of lease, made and entered into, this 11th day of June, 19579 by and between
the City of Georgetown,a municipal corporation organized under the laws of
the State of Texas, located in Williamson County, Texas, acting by and through
its Mayor, J. T. Atkin, duly authorized to so act by resolution of the City
Council of said City, hereinafter referred to as Lessor, and Mutual Lumber
Company, a private corporation incorporated under the laws of the State of
