That each alderman, to be elected at said rr,eneral election, shall receive a salary of ten ("10.00) Dollars per month, paid monthly, during the term for which he is elected. That the fact that it is necessary to fix the salaries of the said officers prior to Vie date of the said election creates an emerency mal:in; it necessary that the rules requiri_n;; that an ordinance be read at three separate meetinFs prior to its passaj;e be suspended, and that the said rules are hereby suspended, and this ordi.^ance is at once passed, and that it take effect from and after its passa•e.
