BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORG"r7O1VN, TEXAS. That eaoh alderman, to be elected at said general election, shall receive a salary of ten (110.00) Dollars per month, paid monthly, rayor salary($40.00) Dollars per month during the term for which he is elected. That the fact that it is necessary to fix the salaries of the said officers prior to the date of the said election creates an emergency ;Waking it necessary that the rules requiring that the ordinance be read at three separate meetings prior to its passage be suspended, and that the said rules are hereby suspended, and this ordinance is at once passed, and that it take effect from and after its passage.
