CITY OF GHORGETOWN
An amendment of the ordinance of the 8ity of Georgetown, Texas,
amending the Zoning Ordinance which went into effect on September 21,
1961, amending the Zoning District Map and making this amendment a part
of the map of the original ordinance ; to change the southeast corner
of Block 11 of Snyder's Addition to said City from 11R-1" one -family
dwelling district to "R-2" duplex and apartment district, as hereinafter
set forth.
Be it ordained t7 the City council of the City of Georgetown, Texas;
viHEREAS, an application has been made to the City Council for the
purpose of changing t e Zoning Ordinance on the following described real
estate;
All that certain lot, tract, or parcel of land lying and being situated
in the City of Georgetown, Williamson County, Texas, being a part of the
South one-half of the Fast one-third of Block 11 of Snyder's Addition to
the City of Georgetown, and being described by metes and bounds as
follows$
BEGINNING at the S. E. Corner of Block 11 of Snyder's Addition to the
City of Georgetown, for the S. E. corner hereof;
THENCE N. along the east line of said Plock. No. 11 of Snyder's Addition ,
and along the +est line of Vine Street, 90 feet to a fence, at the South
Past corner of the Sherman D. Lesesne horse property, for the N. E. corner
hereof;
THB%CrWest with a fence along the South line of the Lesesne home
property 0 fe-t to a corner of said fence, for the No W. corner hereof;
THENCE South and parallel with the Fast line of said Block 12, 90 feet
to the South line of said Block and the North margin of 13th Street, for
the S. W. corner hereof;
THENCE East along the South line of Block 11 and the North line of
13th Street 80 feet to the place of beginning, and being the South 90 feet
of the property described in a deed from Armistead F. Davis et al, trustees
of Iota Chspeter of Kappa Sigma Fraternity to Sherman D. Lesesne, dated
September 27, 1958, recorded in Vol. 430, page 70, Deed Redords of +4illiamson
County, Texas, and being the s -me land described in a deed from Sherman D.
Lesesne, et ux to Don Scarbrough by deed dated April 28, 1959, recorded in
Vol. 430, page 151, Deed Records, Ovilliamson County, Texas.
AND WHEREAS, the City Council has submitted the proposed change in the
Zoning Ordinance to the City Pl4nnin; Coraaission for its recommendation and
report; and
IMEREAS, the City Planning Coiwission has approved the changing of said
Zoning Ordinance on the above described property from 11R-1" a one- family
dwelling district to "R -s" Duplex and Apartment District, which said meeting
was held on .iovember 24, 19bl; and
