RE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORG72OVIN, T?MASs f 1 ' r J Section 1. Within new subdivisions, the Water and Sewer Department may extend water and sanitary sewer mains in the streets and alleys or ease- ments within the limits of the City of Georgetown, in order to permit connection by persons desiring and seeking water service and sanitary sewer service upon the hereinafter set out terms and eonditibnas (1) The developer, according to his schedule of operation, shall submit to the City tanager a porpoaed layout of water and sewer main ex- tensions prepared on standard plan -profile paper in accordance with good engineering practice. (2) The proposed layout may be for the subdivision in its entirety or may be for any portion of the subdivision as desired by the developer, irregardless of size or number of lots served. (3) The layout may be rejected by the City Manager and re- turned to the developer as having been rejected if the City Manager finds the same not to be in accordance with good engineering practice. (4) After the layout is approved by the City Kanager if the same is approved, the developer shall make the necessary arrangements for the installation of water and sewer mains in whatever increments that he miCht desire with inspection and final acceptance being furnished by the City. (5) After acceptance of the mains by the City, the developer may present to the City Manager necessary contracts and figures for the installa- tion of the mains and an agreement may be reached as to the cost of installation and a refund contract may be signed by the developer and the City of Georgetown. Engineering costs not exceeding a total of 3% of the water main construction and 5% of the sewer main construction shall be considered as a portion of the refund- able cost. (6) Refund to the developer for water and sewer mains will be made once each year in the amount of 40% of the revenue received from the water and sewer connections in the subdivision for B period of seven (7) years after the date of approval of the final Plat by the City Council or until the amount of 907 of the original cost as provided in said contract is refunded* V) i10 refund shall be made after seven (7) years after the date of the contract.. (8) Re -subdivisions which change the loacation of any street or alley, shall be handled is the same manner as new subdivisions. (9) The City will bear the cost of all fire hydrants, and the excess cost of all mains over the size of six (6) inch Water main and six(6) inch flower main. Section 21 To new subdivisions, the Water and Sewer Department may extend water and sanitary sewer mains in the streets and alleys or easements within the limits of the City of Georgetown, in order to permit connection by persons desiring and seeking water service and sanitary sewer service, upon the hereinafter set out terms and oonditionss (1) The City of Georgetown will establish on a Mastdr Plan the approximate location of all mains larger than six (6) inch water and si: (6) inch sewer and designate which shall be installed at City expense.
