THE VAYCR OF THE S ,ID CITY TO EXECUTE A DEED THERETO, WHEN THE CONSIDERATION
IS PAID,
WHEREAS, Georgetown lmdeoendent School District has offered to purchase all
of that tract, lot or parcel of land described as follows:
BEING. 2165 acres of the C. Stubblefield Survev, Abst. f558, in Williamson County,
Texas, part of which lies in Bleck A, Carver Krk Addition to Georgetown, Texas,
out of Outlet 45, Division A And nprt of this FIR:;T TRACT described in a deed from
W. T. Fletcher to the City of Georgetown, dated November 23, 1:49, or record in
Vol. 357, page 493, Deed Records, Williamson County, Texas. Surveyed on the ground
by 11. F. Forest, F:egistered Public Surveyor # 101, in November Of 1963.
BEGIIIITING at An iron pin set for the NE corner of this tract, in the North line of
18th Street, 35 feet wide, in the North line of the Cprver Park Addition, the MY
corner of Lot 11, Block A of said Carver ?ark .addition stands S 1* 18' W 35 feet.
THENCE S 1*18' W, at 35 feet pass the I4VI corner of skid Lot 11, At 155 feet pass
the SW corner of said Lot 11, nt 169 feet pass the NW corner of Lot 12, in all
309.2 feet to seta 2 inch reinforcement steel rod for the SVI corner of Lot 12, a
1 inch pipe brs West 1.5 feet.
TIVICE S 70* 35' W with the North line of 19th Street, 35 feet wide, 87 feet to
set a j inch reinforcement steel rod, a l'inch pipe brs S 70* 35' W 67.5 feet.

said land the sum of One Thousand ($1,.000) Dpllars in cash when A proper
conveyance thereto is made And delivered, And

Eminent DomRin over the above described land, and
WHEREAS, The City of Georgetown, Texas, and the Georgetown Independent
Qchoal District consider that the use of said lr nd for shhool purposes is a
better public use of solid land than its present use, And
WHEREAS, the orfer made for said land by Georgetown Independetn School
District, is fair And resonAble, and it is to the best interest of the said City
thA.t same be Accepted,
THEREFOREs BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of The City of Georgetown,
Texas, That the Citv of George+r-wn, Texas accepts the solid offer of Georratown
Independent School District, to purchase the said 2.65 Acre tract of land for the
cash consideration of One Thousand ($1,000) Dollars, And that RAwleigh S. Elliott,
bievor of this City, is hereby authorized and directed to make And deliver to the
said. Georgetown Independent School Disttict a good And sufficient Deed of Conveyance
when said cash consideration of One Thousand 01,000) Dollars hots been paid to the
said City of Georgetown.
