Police Department: Total of 13 burglaries cases, 10 were cleared, 3
cases pending. 63 car thefts reported and all were recorded and eases
filed. 6.aggravated assault oases filed and cleared. % misdemeanors
and thefts cases worked and all cleared but one. both Patrol oars on
duty and night patrol has proven very sucoessfull.
Project to be completed in the ensuing year.
11 Complete new lighted hard ball field in San Gabriel Park.
2. Utility services for 0+est .fide School and new shcool in Northtown.
3 Move dump ground to new location and complete plans for m6ving
sewer farm to new location.
4. Revamp substation, install another circuit and oil switch to be
able to take care of additional load coming years.
Continue our paving program with a goal of 10 to 15 new blocks per
year.
6 Add new water and sewer mains and continue to improve both systems
as revenues will permit.
7 Plan some way to build new City Hall and Fire Station.
I want to take this opportunity to express to you and the department
heads and each employee for their effort and full cooperation and
help all during the year. Without this the progress and improve—
meats coule not have been done.
It has been you who have set the policies which would be in the
public interest which has enabled the City Administration to bring
about these accomplishments of the past year. It has been a pleasure
to work for you and with you for the betterment of Georgetown.
