.An amendment to the ordinance of the City of Georgetown, Texas,
amending the Zoning Ordinance which went into effect on September 21,
1961, amending the Zoning District :Sap and making this amendment a
part of the map of the original ordinance to change the hereinafter
,'ascribed real estate in said City from "R-1", One Family Dwelling
District to "R-211, Duplex and Apartment District, as hereinafter set
forth,
Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Georgetown,
Texas:
1141T,REAS, an application has been made to the City Council for
the purpose of changing the Zoning Ordinance on the following des-
cribed reak estate:
BEING,the North 1/2 of Block No. 33 of the Snyder Addition to
the City of Geor etown, Williamson County, TexFis, being the same
property conveyed by Ruth Conaway, at al to Minnie Thwing, by deed
recorded in Vol. 285, Page 220, Deed Records of 14illiamson County,Texase
A`11) IiHEREAS, the City Council has submitted the proposed change
in the Zoning Ordinance to the City Planning Commission for its re-
commendation and report; and,
WIEPRAS, the City Planning Commission has approved the changing
of said Zoning Ordinance on the above described property from "R-1", a
one Family Dwelling District, to "R-2", Duplex and 1partment District,
which said meeting was held on August 18, 1964; and,
VtHEREAS, the City Council before adopting this amendment to the
Zoning Ordinance gave notice of such hearing by publishing the same
three times in the Williamson county Sun, a weekly newspaper in the City
of Georgetown, Texas, which said notice stated the time and place of such
hearing; and which time was not earlier than 15 days from the first day of
such publication; and,
tHEP RAS, the City Planning Commission approved the change aforesaid
in the Zoning Ordinance; and no protest was entered against the proposed
c4ange ; and,
