A MMYIENT TO THE ZMING ORDINANCE O1' THE
CITY U GEORGETOWN
An amendment to the ordinance of the City of Georgetown, Texas,
amending the Zoning Ordinance which went into effect on ueptember.21,
1961, amending the Zoning District Map and making this amendment a part
of the map of the original ordinance; to change the hereinafter described
real estate in said "ity from "R-1; Qne :Family *!welling District to "B-1",
.Local Retail District, as hereinafter set forth.
Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas;
P4.EREAS, an application hes been made to the City Council for the
purpose of changing the Zoning Ordinance on the following described real
estates
All that certain tract or parcel of land out of the N. Porter Survey,
Abstract No. 497, in villiamson County, Texas, and in The City of Georgetown,
Texas, part of the Cecond Tract of 935 acres described in a deed to
64illie 'arilliams , recorded in Vol. 220, Page 465, Deed Records of Ivilliamson
County, Texas, which said Second Tract is a part of a tract described in
a deed to iters, Irene 16+illiams Parker of record in Vol. 410, Page 25, Deed
Records of ti'rilliamson County, Texas, more particularly described as followss
BEGINNING,at the point of intersection of the :,est line of Interstate
Highway NO, 35 and the North line of Ranch to Marlet Road No. 2338;

the Zoning Ordinance to the City Plarning Co^unission for its reco:-umendetion
and report; and,
WH REAS, the City Planning Corm+ission has approved the changing of said

held on lueust 18, 1964; and,
WFMEAS, the City Council before adopting this amendment to the
Zoning Ordinance gave notice of such hearing; by publishing; the same three
times in the ;illiamson County Sun, a weekly newspaper in the City of
Georgetown, Texas, which said notice stated the time and place of such
