FcC lain NOT -W PUBLIC in and for Willi-irson County, TexNs RESOLUTION OF THE CITY 0OUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGPTOVrN, TEXAS, DIRECTING THE MAYOR OF $,^.ID CITY TO EXECUTE A DET'D TO A PART OF LOT 15, BLOCK 1 OF THE iAPT ADDITION AND A PART OF WEST 10TH STREET TO SAID CITY, C011VEYING SAIE TO THE GEORGETO';jN INVESTMENT COUIFANYp 111EREAS, the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, by Ordinance passed and adopted on the 13th day of August, 1962, did abondon and close a street or alley lying between Block No..l and Block No. 2 of the Hart Addition to said City, same being a part of jest 16th Street in said City, and, WiEREAS, it has been determined that a small portion of a grain storage wlre- house owned by siad Georgetown Investment Company is situated upon a portion of said abandoned street and other property owned by said City of Georgetown, Texas, and , VIFEREAS, it is desired to convey to the said Georgetown Invest -lent Company a strip of land to include the tract whreeonsaid warehouse in consideration of theo sum of Ten and bio/100 (4'10.00) Cash and further consideration of the execution and delivery of a confirmation deed by said Georgetown Invest ent Company to the City of Georgetown, Texas, correctly defining the boundaries of Voest 16th Street as hereto- fore conveyed by Frank J. Baker, Receiver, their predecessor in title. NUK, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED. by the City Council of t}:e City of Georgetown, Texas, in regular meeting this the 14th day of September, 1964, that the Mayor of said City, Rawleigh S. Elliott, be directed to execute and deliver a deed to the Georgetown Investment Company, a private corporation, conveying the hereinafter described tract of land to said Georgetown Investment Company, to wits BFITIG part of Lot 15, Block 1, of the Hart Addition and part of West 16th Street as it originally traversed the Hart Addition and closed by Ordinance of tha City Council, dated 'August 13, 1962, of record in Vol. 459, Page 241, Deed Records ?Williamson County, Texas. Surveyed on t�-e ground by W. F. Forest, Registered Public Surveyor No. 101, in September of 1964. BEGINNING at an iron pin for the S E corner of a tract conveyed by Frank J. Baker, Receiver of Georgetown Oil ldill, to the City of Georgetown for street purposes, dated April 4, 1963, of record in Vol. 459, PagF� 249, Deed Records, in the West line of Lot 15, South 60 feet from the N W corner of same.
