HomeMy WebLinkAbout0390_388388 for construction of said system, and 0"< WHEREAS, it appears in said Ordinance in Section 13 thereof that said franchise shall not be assignable without approval of a sbnple majority of the Georgetown City Council, and National Cable .&,Utilities Corporation has re- quested the City Council to allow it to assign said franchise to KBC Corporation a Texas Corposation, for the purpose of obtaining certain visual and audible entertainment facilities and signals to benefit the City of Georgetown, Texas. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council extends the period of time from the date of the Ordinance aforesaid to Julyl, 1965, to undertake diligent con- struction of said visual and audible entertainment system, and further the City Council approves and grants the right and privilege of assigning said franchise to KBC Corporation, A Texas Corporation. Adopted by the City Council of Georgetown, Texas, at its regular meeting on October 12, 1964. CLAUD FADS, CITY SECRETARY (CITY SEAL) ADDENDUM This is to serve as an Addendum to Ordinance found in ordinance bbdk, page 258- 261(and extension 387-388), and will serve to amend Section 10 of the ordinance to provide for an extension of time for a period of sex months, from July 1, 1965, to January 1, 1966, for the construction of such entertainment system within the confines of the city of Georgetown, Texas.
