AMENDMENT TO THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE
CITY OF GEORGETOWN
An amendment to the ordinance of the City of Georgetown.
Texas, mtending the Zoning Ordinance which went into effect on September
21, 1961, amending the Zoning District Map and makinn this amendment
a part of the map of the original ordinance to change the hereinafter
described real estate in said City -from 11R-111, One Family Dwelling
District to 11R-211, Duplex and Apartment District, as hereinafter set
forth.
Texas:
Be it ordained by the City Council of the City hof Georgetown,
WHEREAS, an application has been made to the City Council for
the purpose of changing the Zoning Ordinance on the following described
real estate:
BEING part of Block 3, of the Snyder Addition to the City of
Georgetown. Texas, beginning at the S E corner of said Block 3;
THENCE West with the South line of said Block, 72 feet;
THENCE North parallel with the East line of said Block, 84 feet;
THENCE East Parallel with the South Line of said Block, 72 feet;
THENCE South 84 feet to the Place of Beginning and being part
of the same land -conveyed by L. M. Keeling, et al ti Henry E. Meyer by
deed dated May 3; 1930, recorded in Vol. 251, Page 564, Deed Records
of Williamson County, Texas
AND WHEREAS, the City Council has submitted the proposed change
in the Zoning Ordinance to the City Planning Commission for its re-
commendation and report; and,
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission has approved the changing
of said Zoning Ordinance on the above de;cribedkiproperty from 11R-111,
a oen Family Dwelling District, to 11R-211, Duplex and Apartment District,
which said meeting was held on October 20, 1964; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council before adopting this amendment to the
Zoning,grdinanee gave notice of such hearing by publishing- the same
three times in the Williamson County Sun, a weekly newspaper in the
City of Georgetown, Texas, which said notice stated the time and place
of such hearing and which time was not earlier than 15 days from the
first day of such publication; and,
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission approved the change
aforesaid in the Zoning Ordinance; and no protest was entered against
the proposed change; and,
