AMENDVENT TO THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE
CITY OF GEORGETOWN
An amendment to the ordinance of the City of Georgetown,
Texas, amending the Zoning Ordinance which went into effect on
September 21, 1961, amending the Zoning District Map and making this
amendment a part of the map of the original ordinance; to change
the hereinafter described real estate in said City from "R-1119 One
Family Dwelling District, to "B-211, Commercial District, as here-
inafter set forth.
Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Georgetown,
Texas:
WHEREAS, an application has been made to the City Council
for the purpose of changing the Zoning Ordinance on the following
described real estate:
TRACT 'I:
BEING Lots 1, 2 and 3 in Block No. 7, Gabriel Heights Addition
to the City of Georgetown, Texas, as shown in Vol. 4, Page 25, Flat
Records of Williamson County, Texas.
TRACT II:
BEING a part of the N. Porter Survey, Abstract No. 497,
in Williamson County, Texas, and part of a tract of 371.96 acres
described in a partition deed, dated February 4, 1956, from Payne
Douglas Williams to Irene Williams Parker, of record in Vol. 910,
Page 25, Deed Records of Williamson County, Texas.
BEGINNING at a point on the West right of way line of
Interstate Highway No. 35, said point being 930 feet N 38 deg.
001 E from a point where the West right of way at Interstate Highway
No. 35 intersects the diagonal North right of way line of Ranch Road
No. 2338, said point of beginning also being the point where the
North boundary line of Clay Street in the Gabriel Heights Addition
to the City of Georgetown intersects said West right of way line of
Interstate Highway No. 35;
THENCE N 38 deg. 00! E, 79.2 feet to a break in the West
right of way line of Interstate Highway No. 35;
THENCE N 29 deg. 18t E along the west right of way line of
Interstate Highway No. 35, 1200 feet;
`HENCE at right angle to West right of way of Interstate High-
way No. 35, N 60 deg. 42' W. 200 feet to a point;
THENCE S 29 deg. 18t E and parallel to the West right of way
line of Interstate Highway No. 35 to a point where this line
intersects the North boundary line of the before mentioned Clay
Street;
THENCE S 52 deg. 00' E along the North boundary line of Clay
Street to the POINT OF BEGINNING.
AND WHEREAS, the City Council has submitted the proposed
change in the Zoning Ordinance to the City Planning Commission for its
