Elliott, Mayor ANNE)CATION ORDINA.'VCE AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING THE HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED TI:RItITORY TO THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, WILLIAMSON COUNTY, M(AS, AND EXTENDING THE BOUNDARY LIMITS OF SAID CITY SO AS TO INCLUDE SAID 111MEINAFTElt DE- SCRII3ED PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS, AND GRANT- ING TO SAID TERRITORY AND TO A4L INIIAIIITANTS, PRESI T AND FCPI'URE, OF SAID PROPERTY ALL OF THE RIGHTS AND PRIVILEGES OF ALL OTHER CITIZENS AND BINDING SAID INHABITANTS BY ALL THE ACTS AND ORDINANCIS OF SAID CITY AND CONTAINING LMERG11NCY CLAUSE: WIMU!AS, a petition for annexation has been duly signed and acknow- ledged by each and every person having an interest in the hereinafter describ- ed property and territory; and, WH ERI:AS, said tract of land is contiguous and adjacent to the City of Georgetown, Texas, and is not more than one-half mile in width; and, W11IItEAS, said petition was presented to the City Council on the 28th day of October, 1965, such date being not less than five nor more than thirty days from the date hereof; and, W11110,S, after hearing such petition and arguments for and against same the City Council has voted to grant such petition and to annex said territory to the City of Georgetown, Texas: NOW, T11I1tEFORE, 13E IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, that the following described property, to -wit: Parcel No. 1: BEGINNING AT A POINT IN TIIE EAST RIGHT OF WAY OF Interstate highway 35, opposite Survey Station 734+00; and, THENCE N 26* 45' E, along said east right of way for a distance of 2094.8 feet; and, T1112NCE S 63-K 15' E, a distance of 302 feet to a point in the east right of way of existing U.S. Highway 81; and, Thence N 16* 55' E, along said existing right of way, a distance of 460 feet; and, THENCE: N 63* 15' W, along a line that passes through Interstate Highway 35, Survey Station 708+50.8, for a distance of 689.6 feet to a point being in the west right of way of Interstate Highway 35; and, THENCE in a southwesterly direction along said west right of way, which is on a curve having a radius of 1095.9 feet for a distance of 441.1 feet to a point which is the P.T.; and, THEME S 26* 45' W, along said west right of way for a distance of 2013.4 feet; and, THENCE S 23* 48.7' W, along said west right of way for a distance of 107.2 feet; and, THENCE S 63* 15' E, along a line that passes through Interstate Highway 35, Survey Station 734+00 for a distance of 350 feet to a point in the east right of way of Interstate Highway 35, which is the point of beginning.
