13EGINNING at a point in the east right of way of Interstate Highway
35, opposite Survey Station 979+00; and,
THENCE S 18* 27.3' W, along said east right of way line for a distance
of 495 feet; and,
T1IMCE s 08* 27.5' W, along said east right of way for a distance of
668.5 feet; and,
T1II2v'CE S L** 27.3' 11', along said east right of way for a distance of
1519.8 feet; and,
TUNCE N 71* 32.7' W, along a line, being the new South City Limits
of Georgetown, Txas, that passes through Interstate Highway 35, Survey
Q
Station 1005+00 for a distance of 400 feet to a point in the west right of
way of Interstate Highway 35; and,
THENCE N 18* 27.3' E, along said west right of way line, a distance
of 1169.4 feet to a point being; the P.T. of a curve; and,
THEKCE in a northeasterly direction along said west right of way being
on a curve having a radius of 1859.9 feet for a distance of 1042.3 feet to a
point which is a P. R. C.; and,
THENCE in a northwesterly direction along said west right of way being*,
on a.curve having* a radius of 724.1 feet for a distance of 241.2 feet; and,
THINCE N 06* 29.3' E, along* said west right of way line for a distance
of 94 feet; and,
THENCE S 87* 48' E, along a line that passes through Interstate Highway
35, Survey Station 979+00, for a distance of 710 feet to a point in the east
right of way of Interstate highway 35, which is the point of beginning!,
be and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Georgetown, Texas, Williamson
County, Texas, and that the boundary limits of the City of Georgetown, -Texas,
be and the same are hereby extended to include the above described territory
within the City Limits.of the City of Georgetown, TLxas, and the same shall
hereafter be included within the territorial limits of said city, and said land,
and the present and future inhabitants thereof, shall hereafter be ent.it.lwd to
all the rights and privileges of other citizens of the City of Georgetown, Texas,
and shall be bound by the acts and ordinances of this City.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to file with the County Clerk of
Williamson County, Texas, a certified copy of this ordinance.
The importance of this ordinance creates an emergency and an imperative
public necessity that the rule requiring ordinances to be read at three
separate meetings be suspended, and this rule is hereby suspended, and the
ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its adoption.
PASSED by an affirmative vote of all of the members of the City Council
this the 3rd day of November, 1965
