prima facie evidence that the same was installed under authority of law.
Whenever any special regulation of traffic becomes expressly not
applicable to a specific location in the city, the record of such location
shall remain in the traffic register, but shall be prominently marked "DELETED"
by the Chief of Police, who shall also note the date of such deletion and the
authority therefor. All entries made by the said Chief of Police in said
Register shall be made only after same are authorized by the City Council.
The provisions of this Ordinance are severable so that any portion
hereof, which might be deemed to be void as a matter of law, shall not affect
the validity of any other portion hereof.
DULY APPROVED AND ENACTED this the 24th day of January, A.D. 1966,
at the regular meeting of the City of Georgetown Council at Georgetown, Texas.

AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR AND MAKING THAT PORTION
OF ASH STREET WHICH IS SITUATED BETWEEN UNIVERSITY
AVENUE AND TENTH STREET A ONE WAY STREET FOR NORTH
BOUND TRAFFIC.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS:
THAT hereafter that portion -of Ash stret-lying and being situated in the
City of Georgetown, Williamson County, Texas, which lies and is located between
University Avenue and Tenth Street in said City of Georgetown shall be used
for North bound traffic only and the same is hereby designated for use of
north bound traffic only and shall be a "one-way street" for northbound traffic
in said two block area, from 7 A.N. to 4 P.N. School day only.
The City Manager of the City of Georgetown is hereby authorized and
directed to have appropriate signs erected to place motorists and citizens
on notice of this change.
The fact that the passage of this ordinance is of great public im-
portance to immediately put into force the aforesaid traffic control change for
the protection of the lives, health, property and welfare of the citizens of
the City of Georgetown and thereby creates a public emergency and necessity and
therefore this Ordinance shall take effect from and after this reading and
its. passage and adoption.
READ, PASSED AND ADOPTED by unanimous vote this 17th day of
January, A.D. 1966.
