Section 4. That absentee voting shall be conducted at. the office ►"L
of the City Secretary in the City Hall in the City of Georgetown, between
the hours of 8:00 o'clock, A.M. and 5:00 o'clock, P.M., 'Mondays through Fri-
days, and between the hours of 8:00 o'clock, A.M. and 12:00 o'clock noon on
Saturdays, beginning February 7th, 1966 and extending through 23rd, February,
1966, and notice thereof shall be posted in.said office at least twenty (20)
days prior to the date fixed for said election. The City Secretary is hereby
directed to keep his office open during said period for absentee voting,
as herein provided, for at least eight hours on each day which is not a Sat-
urday, a Sunday, or an official state holiday.
Section 5. That said election shall be held under the provisions of and
in accordance the laws governing the issuance of municipal bonds by cities,
as provided in the General Laws of the State of Texas and only resident legally
qualified property taxpaying voters of the City of Georgetown, Texas, who own
taxable property in said C.ty and who have duly rendered the same for taxation,
shall be allowed to vote.
Section 6. That the ballots for said election shall have written or
printed thereon the following:
OFFICIAL BALLOT
FOR THE ISSUANCE OF WATERWORDS SYSTEM IMPROVEMENT REVENUE BONDS
AGAINST THE ISSUANCE OF WATERWORKS SYSTEM IMPROVLIO NT REVENUE BONDS.
FOR THE ISSUANCE OF SLIVER SYSTUI IMPROVIIIENT REVENUE BONDS.
AGAINST THE ISSUANCE OF SEWER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENT REVENUE BONDS.
FOR THE ISSUANCE OF ELECTRIC LIGHT SYSTEM IMPROVEMENT REVENUE BONDS.
AGAINST THE ISSUANCE OF ELECTRIC LIGHT SYSTIM IMPROVEMENT REVENUE BONDS.
As to each of the foregoing propositions, each voter shall mark
or scratch out one of the above expressions, thus leaving the other as in-
dicating his vote on the three propositions, respectively.
Section 7: That notice of said election shall be given by posting and
publication of a copy of this order, at the top of which shall appear the
words "NOTICE OF CITY BOND ELECTION"; and said notice shall be posted at
the CITY HALL and at two other public places within the City not less thane
fourteen (14) full days prior to the date on which said election is to be held,
and be published on the same day in each of two successive weeks in a news-
paper of general circulation, published in the City of Georgetown, Texas, the
first of said publications to be made not less than fourteen (14) full days
prior to the date set for said election.
