was given; that a legal quorum was present throughout the meeting, and a legally I
sufficient number of members of the Governing Body voted in the proper
manner and for the adoption of said resolution; and all other requirements
and proceedings under law incident to the proper adoption or passage of said
resolution, have been duly fulfilled, carried out, and otherwise observed;
(4) That if an impression of the seal has been affixed below, it constitutes
the official seal of the Municipality and this certificate is hereby executed
under such official seal. If no seal has been affixed below, the Municipality
does not have and is not legally required to have an official seal;
(5) That the undersigned is duly authorized to execute this certificate.

AMENDMENT TO THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE
CITY OF GEORGETOWN
An AMENIT to the Ordinance of the City of Georgetown, Texas, amending
the Zoning Ordinance which went into effect on September 21, 1961, amending
the Zoning District Map and making this amendment a part of the map of the
original ordinance; to change the hereinafter described real estate in said
city from "R-1" one family dwelling district to "M-1" Industrial and Manu-
facturing district, as hereinafter set forth.
BE IT ORDAINED by the CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS:
WHEREAS, an application has been made to the City Council for the purpose
of changing the Zoning Ordinance on the following described real estate:
Being 3.08 acres of the C. Stubblefield Survey, Abet. #558, in
Williamson County, Texas, part of Outlet 5, and part of 06tlot 6,
Division "A", City of Georgetown, Texas, also being all of Lots
1, 2, 3, 4, 26, 27, and 28, and part of lots 25, 29, 30, 36 and 5,
all of a play park, and a portion of Lee & Moseby Drives in the
Burnham Addition to Georgetown, Texas.
AND WHEREAS, the City Council has submitted the proposed change in the
Zoning Ordinance to the City Planning Commission for its recommendation and
report; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission has approved the changing of said
Zoning Ordinance on the above described property from "R-1" a one -family dwell-
ing district to "M-1" Industrial and Manufacturing district, which said meet-
ing was held on March 15, 1966; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council before adopting this amendment to the Zoning
Ordinance gave notice of such hearing by publishing the same three times in
the Williamson County Sun, a weekly newspaper in the City of Georgetown, Texas,
which said notice stated the time and place of such hearing and which time
was not earlier than 15 days from the first day of such publication; and,
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission approved the change aforesaid
in the Zoning Ordinance; and no protest was entered against the proposed change;
and,
WHEREAS, written notices were given to all of the owners of lots within
200 feet of the above described property, as required by law:
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of George-
town, Texas that the Zoning Ordinance, and the Zoning Map of the City of Georgetan
be amended so that the property described above shall be and the same is here-
by removed from "K-1 One Family Dwelling District to "M-1" Industriaal and
Manufacturing District.
The enactment of this Ordinance being necessary to the immediate preser-
vation of public business and to provide for the usual daily operation of the
municipal department, it is declared to be an emergency measure, which shall
have and take effect following its present reading and adoption.
READ, PASSED AND ADOPTED by unanimous vote, this the 11th day of April,
A.D. 1966.
