permit for that particular job. Such work done by an individual must be done
by him personally on his own particular job and not be a way of performing a
service to the public generally.
Section 14. Conflicting Ordinance Repealed.. All ordinances or parts
of ordinances conflicting with any of the provisions of this ordinance are hereby
repealed.
Section 15. Saving Clause. Nothing in this ordinance or the code hereby
adopted shall be construed to affect any suit or proceeding now pending in any
court, or any rights acquired, or liability incurred, nor any cause or causes
of action accrued or existing, under any act or ordinance repealed hereby. Nor
shall any right or remedy of any character be lost, impaired, or affected by
this ordinance.
Section 16. Validity. The invalidity of any section or provision of this
ordinance or of the code hereby adopted shall not invalidate other sections or
provisions thereof.
O'J Section 17. Emergency Clause. It is found as a matter of fact that an
emergency exists'tand.that it is necessary for the immediate preservation of

public health, safety and welfare of the inhabitants of the City of Georgetown,
U that this electric code be in full force and effect 30 days after its passage.

mental agencies, firms and individuals not within the corporate
linits of the City of Georgetown, Texas, are purchasers of water
from the said 'Vater System, and;

maintaining a pure ^'ester Supply.
