HomeMy WebLinkAbout0106_99Nor shall any right or remedy of any character be lost, impaired or affect- ed by this ordinance. Section 10. VALIDITY. The invalidity of any section or provision of this ordinance or of the building code hereby adopted shall not invalidate other sections or provisions thereof. Section 11. INCONSISTENT ORDINANCE REVEALED. Ordinances or parts thereof in force at the time that this ordinance shall take effect and inconsistent herewith, are hereby repealed. Section 12. AMENDMENTS. The Code adopted hereby is amended as follows: (a) By deleting the following: Para. (a) (d) (e) (g) and (m) of section 36.6 of said code. �j (b) By adopting Appendix A, B and C of the National Building Code 1967 Edition Abbreviated pertaining to the fire prevention code and publications listed thereafter shall be used as a guide for standards, so far as same are not in conflict with the requirements of the Fire Marshall of the State of Texas. Section 13. PERMITS. Wherever in this ordinance and code adopted, herein reference is made to construction or building repair, removal, or move into; same shall not be done until the requirements set out in the Permit Ordinance and the amendments thereto, if any, have been complied with. The Building Official or Inspector or any person or persons having the authority to issue permits shall not do so until they are satisfied with the requirements of the ordinance and same have been met.
