ANNEXATION Olt CITY LIMITS EXTENSION PETITION
TO THE MAYOR AND GOVE1tNING BODY OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS
The undersigned owners of the hereinafter described tract of land, which
is vacant and without residents, or on which less than three (3) qualified
voters reside, hereby petition your Honorable Body to extend the present city
limits so as to include as a part of the City of Georgetown, Texas, the
following described territory, to -wit:
A strip of land 200 feet in width West of and adjacent to the Westerly
right of way line for Interstate Highway 35 described as follows:
BEGINNING at the intersection of the North line of the present City Limits
of the City of Georgetown with the Westerly right of way line of Inter-
state Highway 35 which point is N 60* 59' West 350 feet from the North-
west corner of the Sexton Addition, a subdivision within the City of
Georgetown, Williamson County, Texas;
THENCE Northeasterly with the Westerly right of way line of said Inter-
state 35 a distance of 2994.6 feet, more or less, to the North property
line of the Jay Wolf property which point is opposite engineers station
743/19.2;
THRICE N 88* 11' West with the North property line of the Jay Wolf tract
a sufficient distance to be exactly 200 feet at right angles to the
Westerly right of way line of said Interstate 35;
THENCE Southwesterly parallel with and exactly 200 feet from the Westerly
right of way line of said Interstate 35 a distance of 2980 feet, more
or less, to the point of intersection, with the present North City limits
of the City of Georgetown;
THENCE South 53* 46' East with said City Limits line to the place of
beginning, being partly in the Antonio Flores Survey, Abstract No. 235,
and partly in the Nicholas Porter Survey, Abstract No. 497, containing
13.72 acres, more or less.
I certify that the above described tract of land is contiguous and
adjacent to the City of Georgetown, Texas, is not more than one-half (1/2)
mile in width, and that this petition is signed and duly acknowledged by
each and every person or corporation having an interest in said land, and not
being joined herein by my wife for the reason that said land constitutes no
part of my homestead.
