HomeMy WebLinkAbout0114_107107 The term of this lease shall be for twenty (20) years commencing January 1, 1968) and ending December 31, 1987. The consideration for this lease, in addition to the covenants and agreements herein appearing shall be $1.00 per year. It is further agreed that Lessee shall have an option to renew this lease at its termination for an additional twenty (20) years. 3. It is further agreed that Lessee shall have the right to remove the building to be placed on the property and that in the event of the termination of this lease and a sale of the building by Lessee then Lessor shall have the first right of refusal to purchase said building. i?pon the termination of this lease It is understood and agreed that the property hereby leased is a part of the property held by the City for potential park purposes and in the event the San Gabriel Park Expansion Program extends to take in this property the Lessor may terminate this lease by giving Lessee thirty (30) days notice. However, Lessee shall have a reasonable time to remove any and all buildings and structures from the premises. 5. It is further agreed that Lessee shall take good care of the property and shall, at Lessee's own expense and cost, keep said premises in good repair. O. After the lapse of the said thirty day period of time Lessee shall be free to sell the building to anyone it so desires. C`3 U 4.
