You will take notice that the City Council of the City of Georgetown,
Texas, has designated the 1st day of April, 1968, as the date and 7:00 p.m.
as the time it will hold hearings in the District Courtroom, Williamson County
Courthouse, Georgetown, Texas, on the 1d1rTSFD UNBANT M,NEIVAL PIAN FOR THE?
South San Gabriel 1Trban Renewal Project, TEl" 1t-102. All persons having* any
interest in this hearing are invited to attend and be heard at that time. The
boundaries of said project, are described a6 follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the lL'est R.O.W. line of the I & GN Rail Road
which lies on the centerline of State highway 29;
CO THENCE 2020+ feet Southerly alongr the West R.O.W. -Line of the I & GN
Rail Road to the South Property line of Nest 19th Street extended;

THLNCE 3130+ feet Westerly along the South property line of West 19th
Street to the Last property line of the WEST SIDE; SCHOOL, Georgetown
Independent School District;
TIILME 620+ feet Northerly and Easterly along the East property line of
said WEST SIDE SCHOOL, to a point in the South Property line of !Vest 17th
Street;
THLNCE 430+ feet Westerly along the South property line of West 17th
Street to the Last property line of O.L. 53 City of Georgetown;
THLy'NCE, 650+ feet Northerly to the Meanders of the South San Gabriel River;

of the South San Gabriel Itiver to a Point of intersection of the South

The general scope of this Urban Renewal Project includes the nnflertnl<.ir!�«
and activitie- of flip City, including the Urban Renewal Agency; in the area
above described for the elimination'ano the prevention of the development and
spread of slums and blight and involves slum clearance of such area anal the
redevelopment thereof. The scope of the plan and project includes the acquisi—
tion and preparation for redevelopment of the described land, the proposed method
and estimated cost to accomplish same; its methods of clearance and redevel—
opment; its proposed disposal and the estimated proceeds or revenues to he de-
riv,�d from such disposal; the proposed method of financing the project; the
proposed method for the relocation of families and individuals to be displaced
