Sirs:
We the undersigned property owners, being all of the owners
of record that will be affected herein, respectfully petition
that the following alleys in the city of Georgetown be closed.
1. The 20 foot dead end alley that runs east and west and
separates blocks 25 and 26 of South Side Addition.
2. The 20 foot dead end alley that runs east and -west
through the middle of block 25 of South Side Addition.
3. The 20 foot dead end alley that commences on the east
side of block 25 of South Side Addition at Walnut Street
and runs northwesterly between blocks 25 and 26 of South
Side Addition and the Eidman Addition to the city of
Georgetown.
These alleys do not now and have never contributed to the
public good and when they are closed will add to the tax rolls.

AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ABANDONMENT
OF CERTAIN ALLEYS LYING AND BEING SITUATED
IN SOUTHSIDE ACRES ADDITHN TO THE CITY OF
GEORGETOWN AND IN EID1fAN ADDITION TO THE
CITY OF GEORGETOWN
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS:
That hereafter the alleys in the City of Georgetown, hereinafter
set forth, shall be and the same are hereby abandoned and vacated and
closed by the City of Georgetown, said alleyways being as follows:
c
(a) The 20 foot dead end alley that runs east and west and lies
between Blocks 25 and 26 of South Side Addition to the City of
Georgetown, Williamson County, Texas.
(b) The 20 foot dead end alley that runs east and west and through
Block 25 of South Side Addition to the City of Georgetown, Williamson
County, Texas.
(c) The 20 foot dead end alley that begins on the east side of Block
25, South Side Addition to the City of Georgetown at Walnut Street and
lies and runs northwesterly between Blocks 25 and 26 of South Side Addition
and the Eidman Addition to the City of Georgetown, Texas.
It appearing to the City Council that all of the owners of property
adjoining such alleyways have filed their written petition dated July3, 1968,
a copy of which is attached to this ordinance and made a part hereof for all
purposes, wherein such adjoining owners have requested and partitioned the
City of Georgetown to close, vacate and abandon such alleyways and by this
ordinance the aforesaid alleyways are hereby VACATED, CLOSED AND ABANDONED
by the City of Georgetown.
