HomeMy WebLinkAbout0143_13613G Georgetown, Texas may hereafter suffer, incur, be put to, pay or lay out to the undersigned or to any other person, firm corporation or governmental agency by reason of, or having as their origin, claims for personal injuries or property damage or claims of any kind or nature whatever arising out of injuries or property damages or either of them sustained as a result of the operations of said City of Georgetown, Texas, in carrying out its obligations under said Coopera- tion Agreement as above described. Sloan Mayor AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF TUE CITY OF GEORGETOWN TO EXECUTE A DEFD OF CONVEYANCE CONVEYING LOTS 71 8, 9, 10, 11 AND 12, of CARVER PARK ADDITION, CITY OF GEORGETOWN, WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS, TO UILBAN ltlNEIVAL AGLNCY OF CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS FOIL $3,300.00 CASH. WHEREAS, the Urban Renewal Agency of the City of Georgetown, Texas has offered to pay to the City of Georgetown the sum of $3,300.00 for the purchase of the land hereinafter described; and, W111;1d AS, the City Council deems it advisable to complete said sale in order to participate in the carrying out of the policies and programs of the Urban Renewal Agency of said City: THIALLYORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS: The Mayor of the City of Georgetown is hereby authorized to execute a proper deed of conveyance conveying to Urban Renewal Agency of the City of George- town, Texas, the hereinafter described real property, to -wit: All of Lots Nos. 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12, Carver Park Addition, City of Georgetown, Williamson County, Texas, according to the map or plat thereof of record in Volume 2, Page 23, of the Plat Records of Williamson County, Texas. The said deed of conveyance shall be attested by the City Secretary and same shall be delivered to the Purchaser upon receipt of the sum of $3,300.00 cash. The passage of this ordinance is necessary in order to enable the City the City to conduct this business and therefore the ordinance shall become effective from and after its passage, and it is so ordained.
