HomeMy WebLinkAbout0171_164164 AN ORDINANCE AMIMING THE "SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE" PASSED AND ADOPTED BY TRE CITY OF GEORGETOI'rN ON �(p THE 13th DAY OF OCTOBER, 1969, BY AA!ENDING ARTI- CLE FOUR, SECTION 12, SUBSECTION 0 RELATIVE TO V THE FO10A OF ACKNOWLEDGMENTS AND BY AMENDING ARTI- CLE FOUR, SECTION 8, SUBSECTION "D", 1(a) and 1(e) TO REDUCE THE MINIMUM AREA OF RESIDLN'TIAL LOTS FROM 7,000 SQUARE FEET TO 6,000 S-4UARE FEET AND TO REDUCE WIDTH OF &UtE FROM 65 FEET TO 60 FEET. BE IT CRDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS: Section 1, Article Four, Section 12, Subsection "0" of the Subdivision Ordinance of the City of Georgetown, Texas, is hereby amended to read as follows: "0. NOTARY ACKNOWLEDGEMENT FOR INDIVIDUAL OR INDIVIDUALS. STATE OF TEXAS t, COUNTY OF WILLIAMSON BEFORE ME, the undersigned authority, on this day personally appeared (Name of owner or names of owners , known to me to be the person (or Persons) whose names (or Names) is (or are subscribed to the foregoing instrument, and achnowledged to me that he (or they) executed the same for the purposes and consideration therein set forth. GIVEN UNDER MY HAND AND SEAL OF OFFICE, this 13th day of October, 1969. NOTARY PUBLIC IN AND FOR WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS (SEAL) Or as such achnowledged form may be changed from time to time by Texas Law" Section 2. Part Four of the Subdivision Ordinance of the City of George- town, Texas "Section 8, Lots, Subsection'D'. MINIMUM SIZES FOR RhSIDENTLIL LOTS." Subsection 1(a) and 1(c) are hereby amended to read as follows: "1(a) Minimum width at building set -back line -----60 feet." 011(c) Minimum area of Lots within the City limits ---6,000 square feet." The enactment of this ordinance being necessary to the immediate pre- servation of public business it is hereby declared to be an emergency.mea- sure which shall be and take effect following Lts first reading.
