HomeMy WebLinkAbout0179_172172 PROPOSITION NO. 5 FOR TME ISSUANCE OF $25,000 BONDS FOIL THE PURPOSE OF CONSTRUCTING EXTENSIONS AND IMPROVEMENTS TO THE CITY'S WATERWORKS SYSTEM AND THE LEVYING OF THE TAX IN APYMENT TIIU�LEOF 313VOTE5 AGAINST THE ISSUANCE OF $25,000 BONDS FOIL TILE PURPOSE OF CONS- TRUCTING EXCTENSIONS AND IMPROVEMENTS TO THE CITY'S WATINWORI{S SYSTLU AND THE LEVYING OF THE TAX IN PAYMENT THEREOF 94 VOTES PROPOSITION NO. 6 FOR THE ISSUANCE OF $50,900 BONDS FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSTRUCTING STREET I1JPROVk11LNTS AND THE LEVYING OF' THE TAX IN PAnfENT TIiL'ILEOF 312 VOTES AGAINST THE ISSUANCE OF $50,000 BONDS FUR TILE PURPOSE OF CONST- RUCTING STREET IMPROVELILNTS AND THE; LEVYING OF THE TAX IN PAYbI1NT TU11LEOF 96 VOTES PROPOSITION NO. 7 FOR THE ISSUANCE OF $25,000 BONDS OF THE; PURPOSE OF CONSTRUCTING L?CTiNSIONS AND IMPROVLa1ENTS TO THE CITY'S SEIVER SYSTEM AND THE LEVYING OF TH TAX IN PAYMENT TIMtEOF 312 VOTES AGAINST THE ISSUANCE OF $25,000 BONDS FOIL THE; PURPOSE OF CONS- TRUCTING LUENSIONS AND IMPROVEMENTS TO THE CITY'S SEWER SYSTEM AND THE LEVYING OF THE TAX IN PAYMENT THEREOF 93 VOTES PROPOSITION NO. 8 FOR THE ISSUANCE OF $20,000 BOND S FOR TILE PURPOSE OF CONSTRUCTING STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENTS AND THE LEVYING OF THE TAX IN PAYMENT THEME OF 296 VOTES AGAINST THE ISSUANCE OF $20,000 BONDS FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONS- TRUCTING STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENTS AND THE LEVYING OF THE TAX IN PAYMENT THEREOF 116 VOTES PROPOSITION NO. 9 FOR THE ISSUANCE OF $50,000 BONDS FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSTRUCTING A PUBLIC BUILDING TO BE USED AS A POLICE AND FIRE STATION AND THE LEVYING OF THE TAX IN PAYMENT THEREOF 319 VOTES AGAINST THE ISSUANCE OF $50,000 BONDS FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONS- TRUCTING A PUBLIC BUILDING TO BE USED AS A POLICE AND FIRE STATION AND THE LEVYING OF THE TAX IN PAYMENT THEREOF 87 VOTES IT IS THEREFORE FOUND AND DECLARED, AND SO ORDERED by the City council of the City of Georgetown: That a majority of the legally qualified property taxpaying voters who won tazable property in said City and who had duly rend- ered the same for taxation, voting at said election, voted for the issuance of the revenue bonds for the purpose of constructing exten- sions and improvements to the City's electric light system; and That a gajority of the legally qualified property taxpaying voters who own taxable property in said City and who have duly rendered some for taxation, voting at said election, voted for the issuance of revenue bonds for the purpose of constructing extensions and impfovements to the City's waterworks system; and That a majority of the legally qualified property taxpaying voters who own taxable property in said City and who have duly rendered same for taxation, voting at said election, voted for the issuance of the revenue bonds of the purpose of constructing extensions and improvements to the City's sewer system ; and That a jayority of the legally qualified property taxpaying voters who own taxable property in said City and who have duly rendered same for tax- ation, voting at said election, voted for the issuance of general obligation bonds of the purpose of constructing a Public building to be used as a Child Developement Center and the levying of the tax in payment thereof; and That a gajority of the legally qualified property taxpaying voters who own taxable property in said City and who have duly rendered same fir taxation, voting at said electinn, voted for the issuance of general obligation baonds for the purpose of constructing extensions and improvements to the City's waterworks system and the levying of the tax in payment thereof; and
